if you start the head moving in the direction of the turn for a few frames before you flip it, then continue the move for another few frames after you've flipped it, you can fool the eye into thinking that the head is actually turning. Wow. So simple, and so effective. You use it to great effect. I...

Just what was I thinking!?
I feel a bit silly explaining this, but thought it might be helpful to hear what I was thinking (and maybe figure out where I went wrong). I spent so much time in my formative years tring to make the smoothest clay animation that I could it's a little hard to be super enthusiastic. I was hoping the ...

Why a stand-alone or plug-in (well plug-in isn't so bad). Why not just another palet? You don't need to open it if you don't want to (no one makes you open the character/paragraph palet in Photoshop, but it sure is handy to have for those who use it). From 7feet: the tweening ability of the switch l...

Asset Manager
I would love some sort of asset manager. Since Moho seems to keep track of discreet objects (fills, lines, bones, etc.), I would really like to have better access to this information. Some key uses/features that would really be beneficial: -Be able to grab and move through the list the orders in whi...

I have to disagree with exposuresheets being clunky and over-kill. They've been used in traditional animation for some time because they happen to be the best way to keep track of numerous drawings and layers that go into a traditional animation. Clunky? There isn't a tool that's more simple and mor...

More Keyable parameters
I'll keep this one short and the rest of you can add on if you agree. I'd love to be able to key everything. If it has a numeric value, you should be able to key it (and adjust those keyframes).
Especially, all camera settings and particle parameters.

Check out this thread if you're interested in frame by frame animation: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14 It suggests an exposure sheet tool that could take advantage of Moho's switch layers. Basically its a graphic/spreadsheet that would manage the visibility of switch layers. Both...

If an exposure sheet were added to the palets, then that would make traditional drawing much easier. If you aren't sure what I'm talking about, check out the following threads: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12 http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14 Basically the same re...

Or even better, tangent controls on the motion curves. Or at the very least have the choices ONLY effect the selecte keyframe, not the surrounding ones. Animating something as simple as a bouncing ball is far too complex. It should be as simple as a linear input key going to a flat tangent on the to...

I totally agree. 3d cameras are cool. Simple object imports are nice, but beyond that you're better off getting a dedicated 3d program (many render out to Flash already). Perhaps a decent compromise would be some sort of camera importer (such as After Effects allows with Maya cameras) so that you co...

Moho-Hobby or Job
I'm just curious what everyone's using Moho for? I work in 3D all day and the last thing I want to do is come home and do more Maya stuff. But I love working on animations (see related thread: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13 ) So I've started working on more 2D work for fun (and h...
