Where was this book 20 years ago when I could really use it!? Actually quite a bit of the theory behind character design still holds up. Like deciding whether it's movement, shape or color that sets your character apart from the background and other characters. Cool find. Thanks! ________ Honda drea...

Ha! Great stuff.

Wow, I have to say since we've all started posting on this board, you've really improved quite a bit! I'm really impressed and looking forward to seeing just where you'll go.

Nice job.

Ha! Awesome! It's simple but there's some real nice work in here. I love the anticipation before the second jump. Subtle but important.

Now you have a problem. I WANT MORE! Please?

:) Keep it up.

Sang, your stuff is, as always, beautiful.

What I really love is your text messages. The translations are hysterical. They make me laugh every time.

I'm not sure, where are you from? Korea, China, Japan, elsewhere?

Rock on, Dude. You are awesome.

I'm glad you're starting to animate. Don't worry too much about increasing your time at it. Just set aside some time to do it and you'll gradually find yourself wanting to do it more and not forcing yourself to do it more. Remember, don't pressure yourself too much to perform. Accept that you are go...

I second Monkey Jam. It would make it possible for her to adjust the timing on the animations (doubling, tripling, etc. frames) very easily with it's x-sheet setup. It would work with stop motion, cut out, and hand drawn paper since it just uses a simple web camera as its input device. And there are...

I know where you're coming from. I've had similar anxiety/depression/procrastination attacks, not quite as severe as yours sound, but I can relate. If it's at all like what I was going through (and many creative types as well) you're putting too much pressure on yourself. You look at other animation...

I like Yahoo's video search better. Comes up with more results than Google's typically.

Go to Yahoo, click on video tab. Search. Smile.

One of the things I'll do is do a rough thumbnail storyboard on index cards. Anything will work, but keeping it one drawing to a page helps. Typically, it's one drawing per shot, but I'll add in more storyboard panels to flesh out aciton where necessary. I'll record audio (this is where I'll record ...
