Same here, traditional animation is essential to me for planning out the arcs the vectors will take.
The Pen tool is a tad cpu intensive for me to be able to get much control out of it, raster is better suited in that department.

For 3D, as mentioned before there are many cheap or even free alternatives. 2D though, Moho is probably one of the best tools you can get at the moment. I recall being able to bake lighting into textures with YaFray, some googling and elysiun will probably allow you to find out more.

I think this may be in the same boat as the audio support at the moment. :P

On a coding level, i have to again recommend FFMPEG for the job.
I'll probably end up buying Moho once lostmarble sorts this all out. :)

Having sound support under Moho would kick much ass. Trying to sync animations with audio is a serious pain without it. :D (I don't use switch's when it comes to lip syncing. I prefer smoother movement.) Are we looking for an audio library or a codec library? Either way there are many solutions avai...
