I agree, I like the way it works now but it would be nice to have the option of making the bone properly stay fixed in place.

This would be awesome, however, it would also mean the list of bone names would get even longer. So perhaps if there was a better way of organizing bone names in that list (which would be a nice feature regardless... something like, if you click on the dropdown menu you can make folders like "l...

Constraining a bone's scale with another bone's rotation.

I dunno if that title makes more sense but basically, I really wish I could do this:

Rotate a bone, and as that bone rotates, another bone is constrained to it, but instead of controlling the rotation, it controls it's scale. So as I rotate the master bone, the slave bone will grow/shrink.

Yeah auto-save would be really good.

Also, Adobe software puts a little * at the end of the filename if you haven't saved, so you can look up every now and again as a reminder to know that you need to save. Something like this would help.

Definitely! I personally think the whole timeline needs revamping. Version 6 made it even harder to use, and it was already a bit of a pain. The graph mode is unnecessarily complicated, for a start, it should auto zoom on the keys as soon as you click on the selected bone property thing. Also, somet...

Thanks for you replies... As far as i can tell from looking at it in a text editor (I've never done this before...) most of the file is just missing. The coding just cuts off abruptly and then it's blank (I downloaded SciTE and in there it says NUL for the whole line). This is at line 4918. I delete...

URGENT HELP REQUIRED: Corrupted file!

(I hope this is the right section to post in...) I was wondering if someone would be able to help me fix a corrupt file... My computer suddenly shut off while I was using anime studio (I think the power cable was a little loose) and now that I turned it back on the file is corrupted and I can't open...

Entropy: our latest animation short film

Hi, This didn't use Anime Studio at all, so I thought I'd post it here rather than the Share Your Work forum: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwltCgkB6Pk Hope you like it. If you did really enjoy it, we've packaged together the film in HD along with a bunch of extras including artwork by 11 different...

I think they pushed the stylization of the characters too far. You can oversimplify. You can distort proportions too much. It happened here. I completely disagree... I think the style looks fantastic! There are few animated feature films out there that have such a bold approach to character design....

Some really sweet (and fairly strange) animation here. The songs not too bad either.

That was nice, you captured the Nikelodeon feel really well without it feeling ripoffy. A coupla constructive crits though, the animation feels a little too digital and floaty cos there's not really any slow ins and slow outs, you should try to make things snap a bit more. But the choice of movement...

Wow very nice! The fish looks great!

Is that true? If it is I think it'd be good if it said FACT: before going into the fact... cos it seems like a random bit of poetry until America and oil rigs come up.

I saw this at the local film festival a 2 or 3 years ago, it's really really good! One of the highlights of the festival for me (along with Chris Landreth's "Ryan"). It's a good example of cutout animation done really really well, giving so much depth to a technique that is so 2 dimensiona...
