Just saw this posted on Slashdot. Looks VERY cool, but haven't tried it yet:

The Inkulator9000: http://inkulator.sourceforge.net/

Creates vector graphics which looks like inked sketches from 3D models.

I think this is in the works for when the final version of Moho 5 is due.

LM can probably confirm/refute this :)

Bug: Bend Points (horizontal)

(Moho 5 beta3) I just drew a freehand line horizontally across the screen (with some ups and downs), and then tried to use the "Bend Points H" tool to bend it a bit. It works smoothly except that it makes a small "jump" when moving above/below the lines original position. The sam...

Hi Myles! It might still be worth doing, just for the Lua learning involved  Yes, I know, but it's a lot more fun to do something new :) Guess I'll have to think of something else then, or maybe peer-review/bugfix/improve yours :) Feel free to do all of the above - maybe a version that scales ...

Damn you Myles! Just what I was planning to do this weekend! :) Guess I'll have to think of something else then, or maybe peer-review/bugfix/improve yours :) I've made a lame script for creating a parallelogram (or rhombus if you like), but there's a few hitches I need to fix before making it availa...

Very nice work Agent!

If I were to offer some criticism though, it would have to be that I think you're a bit "eager" on the camera movements. But maybe that's just me :)

Well, the Matrox cards used to be king on 2D graphics quality, but I don't really know how they fare these days. Supposedly the ATI cards currently have an edge on nVidia when it comes to graphics quality, but I'm not sure how valid that is either. What I am pretty sure about though, is that your di...

I'm hoping to see more of it at least. Have a kid choose between classic Tom & Jerry vs. som glossy 3D rendered stuff, and he/she'll choose T&J 99% of the time. The games industry is another department which should really consider going back to 2D in certain areas as well. Lousy games which ...

Well, I'm going to disagree! :) Personally I think such training videos are a waste of bandwidth. The tutorials are more than good enough IMHO. And especially if making videos of someone clicking around in Moho would mean fewer tutorials, I would be strongly against it (and despite the Camtasia hype...

Thanks for the response LM. 1. This must've been A, i.e. I was too tired... 2. Hmm, maybe I've confused myself here. The way I was thinking about it was for Lua to act as sort of a man-in-the-middle. A host application can expose it's C functions to Lua, but AFAICS so can a host library? Some...

Are you planning to use Moho 5 on Linux?

As the fate of the linux version of Moho 5 seems to undecided, I thought I'd create a small poll to see if there's any interest among us users. I for one am interested ;)
