Have you looked at the tutorial on masking in the Moho "Help"? It's basically the same setup as the example they provide, only you have create a copy of your character's layer to designate as a masking layer. This lets you mask the character's shape so the character itself remains visible...

keep a shadow off the background?

I am making characters for .png frames that have a transparent background. What I would like to know is if there is a simple way that allows me to apply shadows to layers or folders and keep them from expanding onto the background.

Leg Wigging out

I want it to stop doing it's crazy wiggle. Any suggestions other then frame by frame fixing it are welcome. Here is a...

The problem. Ok I figured out specifically what was causing the problem and why. As I looked at the way the strange linking to the hand was working I noticed it originated from the brown colored area on the top of the head. So I deleted this out and remade it. Same problem. I did everything as I was...

This has to do with shapes that have multiple loops welded together. Moho tries to eliminate these whenever possible, but it's not always possible. When you see this, delete the shape in question and re-fill that area. When you fill, be careful to only select the points that make up the outline of ...

Strange visual error

I am getting an odd visual error . I am guessing that someone has seen this before and hoping that someone knows what is causing this and how to fix it. Interestingly when I render out a still frame it does not show the error yet it does show up inthe preview. http://riledguy.com/animation/strange.p...

I'm still a noob with Moho, but I really haven't noticed a slow down. The longest I've used it was for about 3 hours, little animation, lots of renders. Using Mac OS X 10.3.9 Well try doing a bunch of drawing, building and animating and let me know if you would. I really hope they have fixed this. ...

Are you sure you're not just seeing the editing curves that make up the shape? If you render the result, do you still see the outline? I am sure it is not the editing curves. I render out the frame and my tree highlights are all outlined in black. I drew them with a wacom pen and all the various li...

You need to select the shape first using the Select Shape tool (it looks a bit like a white kidney bean holding a black umbrella). Easy to do if your freehand shapes were drawn using Auto Close and Auto Fill, you can just click on the fill area - the fill will change to a checkered pattern. If your...

Delete freehand tool outline

How do I delete the outline of shapes I have drawn with the freehand tool? I uncheck the box for "enable outline" but it still shows up.
