Re: *NEW* Animated hide edge tool

It's a great tool but I've run into two issues. I have a head turning animation which uses the animated hide edge. I create a bone to flip the animation so I can mirror the other side, but when playing back the hidden edges don't correspond on the mirrored side. Also when I have multiple actions wi...

Re: load/save bone animation script

I need a load/save bone animation script too. Is there anything out there that works for Moho 12?

Re: Mixing Smart Bones!

I'm getting a 189: attempt to call method 'IterateAllLayers' (a nil value) when I use this script. I selected both bones and hit the button and this happens, anyone have a clue why? Did you install ae_utilities.lua to your Scripts>Utility folder? Turns out I was using an older version, updated it a...

Hmm. Well I like the physics features, as it can be usefule for clothings and probs in a scene with no need to animate them...you can use physics on 3D imported objects by applying a bone to them for really amazing and fast simulations. Unfortunately it is based on the bone, not any sort of bounding...

Ironically, Anime is the hardest to make with this package due to the way it works. Making that Anime shading is cumbersome and the layer/shape shading doesn't cut it.

Cinepack is horrible. Rendering anything in AVI that isn't Xvid/Mp* or H26* is not a good idea. Do yourself a favor and install quicktime or render frames. That should solve your problem or at least cut the render time down several hours.

Also, how many groups, duplicates, layers are you using?

I know someone who works on the show, they use both. 3D mostly only for vehicles and very slow head turns.

Great, cant wait! Also a quick question, what does Bake in effects of morph dial do? I've also tried to use your create morph tool instead of regular actions but it has problems when a layer is inside of a group/bone (like resetting to default scale, etc) minor issues really.

This is a really awesome tool! If I name the actions the same they all get effected by the dial, awesome for head turns and such. On a semi-related note, how can I apply scripts to multiple layers in one go?

What you can try to do is start with details how you are comfortable, then start erasing them to get a cartoonier look. Doing it that way helped me understand anime a bit.

Here is a common setup I use. I usually make a control bone off screen, then start with the hips up to the head. Then do the limbs upper to lower extremity. Next you have to relink the bones, this might be the step you missed. select the upper arm bones then select the reparent icon (looks like a ch...
