When you work there be sure not to let O.J. do the kitchen duties when there are knives around and never EVER let Michael babysit your children!

I usually use the Quicktime without compression and use that in my video editing package and export to DV later, I suppose many animators use Moho's output as building blocks and try to keep the highest (non-compressed) quality. However, a straight DV output would be good but I believe this has some...

It's a DivX file, Windows Media Player plays it just fine here, try downloading the DivX (free version) codec. This demonstrates perfectly how free and/or open source software can match their commercial counterparts in the right hands, very well done. The only thing that didn't impress me was the op...

I think you know what you are talking about, the 4 images in the zip file have transparency information, I just checked in a paint program and the examples you posted look very good!

"that has very little, or even nothing to do with the technical quality of the trailer" I'm going to be a pain in the ass on purpose and disagree, the technical quality of any trailer also applies to the actual content and the way the message is conveyed to the viewer. In this case you ha...

Hmmm, porn is a much more interesting topic than religion, let's hijack this already silly thread! Or if that's not allowed religious porn...am I going too far?

I agree with your comments in terms of the trailer quality. And kids don't really care about quality, but I think it's the parents that will have to cough up the dough and there's plenty of choice, also in the Christian niche market. And I don't think kids will ask their parents to buy it seeing tha...

"Macromedia, Adobe , even Toonboom sell more than a single product" Maybe these guys have a friend who helps them out once in a while  But seriously, one application is quite time-consuming already in particular if you are a one-man company and have to take of the business side, cus...

Correct about 24Bit - 16.7M colors, but the other 8 bits are 256 values of grey to create the alpha. So if the export states a 16M color export with alpha it basically gets exported as 32 bit. But programs tend to use their own definitions which makes it quite confusing. Quicktime calls it Millions+...

I have never really worked with "exotic" codecs but I once tried a free Microsoft Photo program that can create videos out of stills with movement and that did look extremely good with high compression. I believe Windows Media 10 has a special codec for optimised still images also. I then ...
