There is an easier way. Draw AT LEAST six different mouths in another program, like Toon Boom, Flash, Photoshop, whatever. Save them as PNGs. The Robot is really great! Has a lot of personality...I would suggest using Depth of Field...it would look great if the crashed ship and tree in the background were a bit out of focus...that would make the Robot stand out more....
