Re: Re-parent bones issue
Thanks for your reply synthsin75 Had a go. Didn't really help. What happens is that all the bones get slightly dislocated when un-parent. I thought it might be because the position of the character when I un-parent in relation to the bike is not the same as it was when I re-parented (he hit somethin...

Re-parent bones issue
Hey Moho people, I have quite annoying issue: I rigged a character and had to have him cycling in a specific scene. I added bike to his bone layer and re-parented the character's Center bone to the bike's Center bone, plus I used the pedals and handles as targets for the arms and legs, following Vic...

Re: Show Play & view Controls War
Hey Greenalaw, thanks again!
It was latter, it completely disappeared from the work view panel. But I did not give up!
I literally pressed all combinations on the keyboard and realized shift+cmd+t hides this bar. No idea why, but there you go.
Thanks again for the help.
Till next time

Show Play & view Controls War
Hey guys, again, Here's an annoying one- when undocking the timeline (I need a bigger view) the flipping Show Play & view Controls bar disappears. It was working fine for few days, then disappeared. When I dock the timeline it shows again. I know in the View tab there's a show/hide button. It do...

Re: Maintaining facial expression a through head turn
Thanks so much Jeremy and Greenlaw, great to have such an active community here. I must say I just figured out that, as recommended here, as far as body turn goes the easiest would be to have as little action on body parts and limbs as possible. In some simple rigs I've just designed we made the tor...

Re: Should I Flexi-Bind?
Thanks Spaceman (for the great facial expression examples too!) I have watche d McCoy Bucks videos, I even signed for a few of his lessons. It's not that I don't get what Flexi Bind does I just always have technical issues with it. For example: I used flexi bind on an arm and it's sleeve. I had to p...

Should I Flexi-Bind?
Hey again Moho people.. I signed in to Moho Motion Design course and I've seen the instructor rigging a character in no-time using Flexi-Bind. I rarely ever use Flexi-Bind Because I find it very fiddly, unstable and not very clear. For example if I release flexi layer binding I can never get it to b...

Re: New Moho training
Hey, I would say it really depends on your knowledge. The character in the course is extremely simple which can be misleading. I was hoping for more in depth look at Moho and tackling more advanced rigging issues such as face expressions, conflicting actions etc- but for the price (75$) you can't re...

Re: Maintaining facial expression a through head turn
Hey Guys,
Many many thanks for your input.
I'll def check the links (I cant believe there're still tutorials I haven't yet watched)
Thanks for sharing your work and examples, I'll try them and report back if and when we will get to the rigging stage.
Cheers,

Maintaining facial expression a through head turn
Hi everyone, I've just finished a pretty low budget short film as a rigger/animator. All in all went pretty smooth but not without some difficulties that were very hard if not impossibly for me to overcome. I have now pitched Moho to an animation studio as a software to be used for a local TV show. ...

Red or Blue Background In When Creating SBD
Hi, Quick question, What does the blue/red timeline background color when creating SBD (smart bone dial) mean? When I apply changes to a specific layer which is inside a masking group while creating smart bone action the bg color changes to red instead of blue, and the bone whichs usually highlighte...
