Re: Is it bad practice to scale layers at frame 0?

I generally leave artwork layers at their original size on frame zero and scale the contained vector artwork instead. By keeping the layers themselves at 100%, animating and modifying the rig is more predictable. Understandably, it may not seem practical to do this for many vector layers. In this c...

Re: Is it bad practice to scale layers at frame 0?

Generally, it's better to save layer transforms for when you really need them during animation. If different layers have different scales, the same line widths will look different. Edit>Normalize Layer Scale usually corrects this, but I wouldn't rely on that to solve all potential problems unless I...

Is it bad practice to scale layers at frame 0?

Hi! I hope you can help me with a decision. I am working with a complex character rig and I want to make a change in the face design. It involves changing the sizes of its drawings (that are vector layers), but the head turn is already working fine so the simplest solution at this point seems to be ...

Re: Drawing Tablet problem with Moho

I don't even bother with Freehand or Blob brush anymore. They're just too frustrating to use. FWIW, the tools do behave more predictably with a genuine Wacom device but it's still not reliable enough for serious work. When I draw vector graphics in Moho, I only use the Add Points and Shapes tools. ...

Re: Drawing Tablet problem with Moho

I have a Surface Pro as well and I found using the screen to draw to be a pretty terrible experience (both the angle of the screen and the issue you described). I was never able to find a solution either, so, I ended up buying and enjoying one of these: https://www.huion.com/pen_display/KamvasPro/K...

Re: Drawing Tablet problem with Moho

I tried desactivating all those options but it's still the same. And with mouse it doesn't happen at all so it doesn't seem to be related to the Free Hand options, but to the way Moho processes the stylus.

Drawing Tablet problem with Moho

I recently started trying to use my old surface pro to draw with moho pro 12.5. It has a wacom display with a stylus. But it looks like Moho doesnt recognise that I am drawing a line until I make a long enough stroke. If I try to make very small lines (almost dots) it is impossible, it always draws ...

Re: Try this if Moho is not running smoothly

I'm still not sure what causes the unwanted keyframe(s) to be created but fortunately, this error occurs very rarely with Moho 12.5. Yes, actually it never happened to me. Only the reference problem, so far. The link I pasted contains that script solution and other useful ones in a comment you made...

Try this if Moho is not running smoothly

One or more conflictive references in your proyect may be causing Moho to run slow (slow response time and jittery reproduction of the timeline) even if your PC is powefull and Moho's CPU and GPU usage is not elevated. To see if this is slowing down your program, make a simple animation and see how ...

Re: mask points move when attaching mesh

Btw, again I know there is a simple solution to this, but how do I move the bone (torso bone) the other one move slightly as well (waist, base bone). Anyway to move just the torso bone? You can press alt while moving a bone with the manipulate bone tool to move only that bone, or you can use the tr...

Re: Smarter "Copy Current frame..."

Library search doesn't work

I have a Lion scene that is on my library folder, and the library is working perfectly: it is linked to moho, and I can use it to see my files from the library window, import them, etc. I saw that I can search by tags, so I created a new "animal" tag for my Lion. But when I try to search for the lio...

Re: Moho's future

I think that Moho is extremely powerful, for me it is the master of puppets (rigs) without any doubt. If SM sells it, that could be good. Probably better than the current situation. The open source alternative would be awesome, but I guess that is too optimistic, isn't it? If I were rich I would buy...
