Re: How to simulate classic hand drawn animation style
That's very good Lukas! I see that only the animated parts have that noisy effect, right? so that's almost what I was going to try but with a different drawing style. How did you achieve the noise?

Re: How to simulate classic hand drawn animation style
Thank you all! Very nice examples, answers and tips! I will try to apply them all. Alanthebox that's a good idea. You can achieve something similar with the noise settings on the layer settings. But I'm looking for typical modern FBF look, and those are more like the sketchbook effect or old style. ...

How to simulate classic hand drawn animation style
Hello! I searched for a topic like this but didn't find anything. I love the rigging tools that Moho provides and all the possibilities they give you, but I like the traditional FBF feel more. To clarify, I'm not talking about an exagerated sketchbook effect, only the most common FBF feel that the m...

Re: My First Full Highschool Animation Project (+other projects)
I liked it! Actually you inspired me because It has an "adult movie" feel that is not very common in animation and I find that very interesting.
PD: I can see the youtube video.

How do I make a smartbone that rotates 360º?
Hello! I want to make a front vector character rig that is able to bend the forearms to left and right 360º with a smartbone action (visual example down below). Maybe it's a silly question but I didn't find anything about this. I can make two smartbone actions for the right side and the left, but th...

Re: Bezier points not working as expected
I use bezier curves a lot for animation. I think one of the "secrets" (it's not a secret, but I think maybe no one has posted it here yet) is to keep most of corners as peak (Ctrl+P). Bones will always move the bezier handles when bending a vector, so any corner made with handles will be ...

Re: Bezier points not working as expected
It's logged on the beta site for Moho 13, so there's no way to provide you any tracking. You would have to report it to SM support yourself to track it, and I'm not sure how much support and beta overlap. Suffice it to say, there's no bug fixing going on for v12... Well I'm happy to know about Moho...

Re: Bone shortening not working as expected
Okay, this is a repeatable bug, and I'll report it to the devs. I've narrowed down what causes it and there's not really a workaround other than not using beziers. But in your case, you are already using enough points to create the exact same shapes without beziers. Here's an example: http://www.fi...

Re: Bone shortening not working as expected
It's not a bug but just the nature of working with bezier points for this type of animation. Bezier can get you very precise shapes making them preferable for drawing but they're just not going to interpolate smoothly unless you create extra keyframes to make the transitions more predictable. This ...

Re: Bone shortening not working as expected
I have a strong preference for bezier handles and it's how I'm used to work in any vector software so I am very concerned about this behaviour that is not predictable or desirable, it looks like a bug and actually this is not the first time I notice the beziers doing not predictable changes mid ani...

Re: Bone shortening not working as expected
so, if I understand it right, the bezier settings doesn't matter now, it should not affect the way bones move their binded points, is that right? I tried with the beziers desactivated anyway but nothing changed. I should have mentioned this but just hiding the bezier handles does not change bezier ...

Re: Bone shortening not working as expected
Without seeing the actual problem, it might work better if the points are rigidly bound to the bone. IOW, no flexi-binding...either point or layer binding (or maybe Bones>Use Selected Bones for Flexi-binding , but only one bone). It could also be that your bezier handles are too extreme, so as the ...

Re: Bone shortening not working as expected
Still can't see the video: screen says it's not available. Maybe a privacy setting? ...But when I do that I see that some beziers are not working as expected: they are changing direction suddenly and then getting back to normal 3 or 4 frames later... The moment you mentioned bezier... Thank you for...
