Modified magnet tool for AS6?

I've been looking all over, but can't seem to find an AS6-compatible magnet tool that only affects selected points. The most I've found is other people looking for the same thing. Has anyone created this tool? :(

I think I found my problem. I have the bones named right and the script in the folder with them, but am not sure how to apply the script. When I open your file in Notepad I notice there's a line that directly refers to aim_bone.lua, (layer_script "aim_bone.lua"), but I can't figure out how...

I've been looking for something like this for years; I can't believe it popped up right before I started a big animation project. I'm still a total script newbie, though, and can't figure out how to apply it to my rigs :(. I see the bone setup you are using, and have successfully added more aimy-lim...

If your "Lovin' AS6" now. Wait till you discover women! <s>If Anime Studio was a woman I would make love to her.</s> I've only played with the demo so far but am loving what I see. The changes to the drawing tools really let me draw things, rather than tediously stitch them together. Not ...

Aha! Thanks for the find, 7feet's tool was just what I was looking for. I just want to say that your character development post ( http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8967 ) was very inspiring to me when I first found this forum. :D Glad I could help inspire you :D. Ironically I never did...

I checked the existing scripts (including Fazek's) but didn't find anything geared toward faster bone manipulation. If you don't use many of the modifier keys for the bone tools, it'd be easy to make one tool that scales, rotates, and translates depending on which modifier key you hold. Don't know i...

Modified Translate Bone for animation?

Hey, long time no see guys! I have run into a bit of a problem. I feel most comfortable when I keep my skeletons pretty simple and scale/translate bones frequently during animation to keep it loose feeling. However, this means I have to frequently switch between three different bone tools while anim...

Hmmm, well, sorry, I guess I get confused easily. No need to apologize; my attitude towards art is that the "viewer can't be wrong". If someone misinterprets something, it's a sign that I'm not making things clear enough. Hence, everyone's opinion is important, even if it's "wrong&qu...

http://foxmage.com/lm_magnet.lua p'chow ;D. Uploaded it for you.

Now THIS is the kind of script I like. Straightforward improvement of an existing tool that makes it more versatile AND simpler. Great work.

As for the gryphon, I assume this is still quite early and you're working to refine it. History is full of gryphons, and they tend to have lots and lots of character. The best gryphon is possibly John Tenniel's illo for the Lewis Carroll books. I'm not aiming to be too historically/mythically accur...

A quick shortcut is to hold down Alt and right click on the frame you want to be the new "end". More technically, the "highlighted" blue area on the timeline is the selection of frames that play when you press the play button. You can set the starting frame with Alt+Leftclick or ...

Did another character (two, kind of) for the project I've been working on; I've been playing with thicker outlines in the places where I do use them, treating them more like shading (I got the idea from Human and Vern's conversation above, of course). It looks alright in places, but I feel like it c...

What about limited outline use, where those that are used are weighted? I tried rendering the shot again only using outlines where they helped clarify the image (face, pants, scarf) and left everywhere else, where they weren't as important, outlineless: http://foxmage.com/JackalLesslines.swf Any opi...

Asking such a general question is just plain silly. There is no answer to this question. I wouldn't say that ; doing animal walk cycles can be pretty tough depending on the animal. Presuming you already know how to draw and do basic animation, I highly recommend the book "Tezuka School of Anim...

Hm.. the layer reordering looks nice, but still no improved Flash export? Having your weighted lines export as dozens of tiny symbols is not a fun thing for web designers.
