Re: Moho Equivalent of Toon Booms 'Auto Patch'

At first read through, this sounds similar to Moho's patch layers? Have you looked into those?

(sorry, not on a computer with Moho installed so I can't link directly to it in the manual, so, here's a robotically narrated tutorial video instead)

Re: Action Shortcut Key?

We ended up keeping it in After Effects because, even though the actions in Moho looked a little better, we lost a little in automation (wiggles driven by the waveform). Just dropping a link here to a video giving some tips on how to extract some animation from a waveform in Moho: https://youtu.be/...

Re: Animated Counter

Hi all. We are currently doing animation for a documentary series and need to show some numbers on screen climbing in value over a few seconds. Does anyone recall a script for an animated counter before I attempt to make one from a switch layer? (I made sure to search the forum and Moho Scripts bef...

Re: towyard: the game!

I started with flash, then Harmony and then Moho. I always wanted to be able to make things by myself and be efficient, so I believe I moved in the direction of better or more powerfull and time-saving rigging features, and I think Moho is the king there. Vector point interpolation and smartbones a...

welcome to the club!

if you haven't done so, a great place to start is the tutorial manual included under the help menu. going through that should really help with the fundamentals of how this software works!

One more question - do you have anything like GPU Tweak installed?

Re: Moho 12.5 crashes on registration popup

Not sure if this information is helpful, but I believe I've seen others on one of the Moho discord servers mentioning purchasing 12.5 through the Humble Bundle, but not reporting any installation problems. To me, this would suggest it's an issue with your particular machine and not the installer or ...

Re: Moho 14. And The Rise Of AI.

i love moho as much as the next person, but a quick look at the bug / feature request discussion boards will tell you that there are quite a few issues (like vector drawing tools that don't drive people crazy?) that should probably be addressed well before even thinking about implementing any sort o...

Have you looked into patch layers? Might want to check those out in the manual.

Re: "IT COULD HAPPEN" Teaser

that was really well done! i think you really nailed the feeling of "weight" with the backpack, the sound design was great, the shots/camera movement worked really well, and the slight parallax was subtle but appreciated. it's actually a little hard to tell - the character is all rigged in...

Re: DIY ant killbot

As a piece of art, it's fine (although I agree that there are far too many "like" verbal tics). And if it is a joke / prank / wind-up (e.g. suggesting that Vince's is ant-infested or doesn't provide parmesan) ... that's fine too! But if you **really** want to impress a business into buyin...

Re: Any tutorials on how to get a hand drawn look?

i've experimented with trying to get a more organic result in moho. i'm by no means an expert and not sure if my results are even that convincing. on most of my cartoons, i just use textured brushes and add a slight boil by enabling noisy outlines, noisy fills, and animated noise in the vector tab o...

This is only the 9th one I've made but no, so far no responses.
