Re: Disappointing expensive Moho 12 Update

$160 is still out of reach for me. Upgrades honestly should be well under 100. IMHO, of course. It's just too much, following on the heels of my upgrade to 11 (which followed on the heels of my upgrade to 10 --- and then again from 9.5 and 9.0) I love the program.. I'm loyal to it. Want to stay curr...

Re: Disappointing expensive Moho 12 Update

I've been a loyal user of ASP from the beginning, faithfully updating with every release. Last update to ASP11 was November 2015 for a reasonable $99. I must say, that being asked to pay $200 in less than a year to update again now to ASP12 with a new name-- well- that's really taking advantage. I d...

Re: FONTS not available?

Hi guyver93 --thanks for the possible work-around... I'll definitely give that a try.

...hopefully someone will know if only certain fonts are allowable. The Helvetica family is pretty basic stuff, so I hope this is not a limitation of ASP9.

many thanks

FONTS not available?

I need to use 2 fonts for a project:

Adobe Caslon Pro and Helvetica Condensed Black.

both are on my iMac (FONT BOOK verified) -- but Anime Studio Pro 9 doesn't see them for some reason.

Can this issue be resolved easily?

kind regards

Re: ASP 9.1

So -- are we saying that those of us who did download 9.1 -- should now be looking/waiting for a 9.1.1 -- because there is a problem with 9.1?

Which update is the real update? And how can we tell if we have the correct 9.1 before they pulled it?

ASP9. Crash. Rename layer and opacity change

Getting numerous and almost guaranteed crash if I rename a vector layer in an open project. Will definitely get a crash if i try to do an image opacity change. Once I reopen the project, from its backup, i can then change the layer name or opacity and continue. Projects will crash again after workin...

Re: Error upon re-export.

Having the same problem with ASP9--- but not with ASP8.2 Running Snow Leopard ASP9- 32-bit mode. FIles produced are .mov--- but QT say they are not valid .mov files. --- This happens, whether it's overwriting a previous version-- or a completely new version (with new file name.) It's hit or miss--- ...

Incidentally--- putting PNGs with transparency into ASP9-Debut works fine.

Re: Image sequence ASP9 bug

"Nearest Neighbor" -- checked or not checked makes no difference. Now here is another anomaly--- By importing the same pix on new layers about 10 times (frustrated) -- one of them surprisingly imported correctly. Same with drag and drop--- out of several successive attempts (and several la...

Re: Image sequence ASP9 bug

And here's a twist to this issue. If I open the original project file built in ASP8 -- with ASP9 --- there is no problem and the PNG files function/render correctly (in ASP9). But if I re-build the project from the ground-up in ASP9-- the results are unusable. Perhaps this will help narrow down the ...

Re: Image sequence ASP9 bug

Here is a sample of an ASP8 render png (part of image sequence) and the same png file in ASP9-- totally unusable... This is a deal-breaker for ASP9 (IMHO) I use PNGs extensively and especially image sequences. Hope this is resolved quickly. http://www.themonkeykingsdaughter.com/FTPFiles/ASP8-vs-ASP9...

Re: ASP9 disables ASP8?

Okay--- installing ASP9 in my iMac running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 did not conflict with ASP8.2 on the same iMac (or my ASP7...) So, is this a Mountain Lion issue? Could it be a 32 vs 64 bit issue since my older iMac with Snow-Leopard is a 32-bit intel. In any case, ASP8 no longer works on my new/faster...

Re: ASP9 disables ASP8?

Yes this is correct. I will now put ASP9 on my old back-up iMac running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 that already has: ASP7 ASP8 and ASP9-debut. All in separate folders in APPS--- all with no conflicting issues. I'm a bit hesitant to do this-- since all my important ASP8 projects are sitting on there-- but w...
