Thanks guys :D Glad you're liking it. Often this style of animation suffers from a certain stiffness, but you avoided this with the hand-drawn material and the overall style. Perfectly executed as well. Agreed and this was a problem when I started it in 2010 (don't worry, it didn't take me two years...

Re: Animation Jobs dilemma

Sup Brooke. I'm not sure if you want to hear this, but I had a similar experience with education and work and also felt lost and confused. My background previous to my studies was music, and I did a few animations for friends occasionally. No trad-animation or artistic background really. I got lucky...

Rotkäppchen — It's The Sound

Seeing as I've been spanked out of the "Share your work" part of the forum (for good reasons), I shall share Cribble wares here instead (until I return to AS).

Here's a music video I did for a friend's band. Semi-trippy!

This book totally rocks. I bought it mainly for the introduction section (intro to animation history and whatnot), to help reference my dissertation. If I hit a tricky spot (animating four legged creatures) I flick through it for a little nudge of confidence or just for little stories Williams chuck...

Thanks guys :D Heh, yes, I've been lurking, mainly in the "Other Software" part just to keep up to speed with what's going on with other softwares and whatnot as it's nice to see what new animation stuff is coming out or worth trying. I haven't really touched Anime Studio in a while… I jus...

HIYA! Long time no see, right? Well, I graduated, "She Farted…" got shortlisted for the Virgin Media Shorts competition thus showing in cinemas up and down the UK, alas, I think its nearing the end of its run now. Then I worked full time, realised I wasn't doing what I wanted to do, so I q...

So... pop on over.

Thanks everyone :D Is there a "cinematic" or "animation" term for that "style"? Not the "cut out" style but the flowing, continuously connected scene style. I see that every once in a while and really like it. there is a recent series of Microsoft commercials ...

She Farted And Created The World

Hello everyone.

I seldom post here much anymore, due to insane amount of work, but still check by from time to time to check for hints and stuff.

I've recently completed a new animation "She Farted And Created The World" which you can see on vimeo.

check it out

If you make money from your animations, don't use it.

If you don't make money from your animations, use it.

I think they're pretty good (bar their youtube usage of my animations), though their HD service isn't as good as vimeo's.

They probably boost my website hits by about 200 a day.
