Good luck with your studies Rasheed. You'll get use to the smell of burning brain cells after the first few weeks -smells a little like Bacon- and then it is all downhill from there. ;) Seriously though, have fun. Look forward to hearing how you do. I have a worthless distance learning associates de...

More School Work - 3 weeks to go ...

Thanks. I use to love to fish for bass, pike and other fish all over New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania when I was growing up. :) Well, about 3 weeks away from completing my 18 month program at Brooks College. I have a few bits posted on my blog if anyone cares to look. Feedback is always welcome...

You may want to collect them all and move to animationblogspot.com - created by AWN- it is an all animation/art blog and visible throughout the AWN network via rss feeds and an optional banner you can create which they rotate through all their sites. You can add authors/editors to your blog which I ...

Hi folks. Sorry about the contest results delay. I emailed GreyKids the results at the end of the contest but apparently it went out into the internet twilight zone. I PM'd Stu at GreyKids yesterday to ask if he had a chance to look at them, assuming he had gotten busy, and he said he never got the ...

Thanks for the feedback. I actually did paint that branch at a different time - thanks for pointing it out. I am testing 3DS Max out now with some simple branches and lighting. Trying to visualize a cathederal like space behind the branches with columns of light but my painting isn't good enough to ...

Was home sick today so went a bit farther with my ArtRage playing. I created a few more stones and some branches in ArtRage and then composited in Photoshop. http://www.stormvisions.com/myspace/aoc_branches14th.jpg Feedback appreciated especially on lighting, but on any and all areas as I really nee...

I saw a request for concept artist for an independent game company I know. The enemies are these sort of weird swarm enemies. I decided to try a few. Unfortuantely not what he was looking for but I figured I'd try some more to see if I can get the hang of it. I painted the first image in ArtRage and...

A few experiments ....

Some stuff I played with - trying to get some concept work. No quite there but practice makes perfect they say (we'll see if they are right). http://www.stormvisions.com/myspace/thing1th.jpg http://www.stormvisions.com/myspace/thing2th.jpg http://www.stormvisions.com/myspace/thing9th.jpg

All entries are up!

Finished posting the entries. Sorry for the delay - you know the drill, a few messed up files, school and a hanky drenching cold. I'm sending a message to our judge now. If anyone notices any major goofs by me then please let me know. Feel free to comment in this thread and offer suggestions for the...
