Re: Strokes rendering problem
Thanks. I was doing some testing based on the comments in this thread. It seems to be strokes with a small width (a value of 2 or less for the brushes I've been trying) where the jagged renders appear even on the close ups. A stroke value above that and the close ups looked good. Of course they stil...

Re: Strokes rendering problem
Thanks for the replies. A global line style sounds useful, I have a few questions on it but will start a new thread for that. For the strokes using brushes, I know the quality wont be the same in close ups and wide shots. At some point as you zoom out the camera or scale down the character I'd expec...

Re: Post picture in this forum
Thanks everyone. I tried TinyPic again and it worked for me this time. I also checked out my Dropbox account, which also works. TinyPic is easier and resizes for me so I'll go with that with Dropbox as an option if needed.

Strokes rendering problem
I've working on a new character and trying to give the stroke for it a brush so that it doesn't have that smooth computer look to it. I'm been experimenting with the built in brushes and custom brushes and running into a lot of render issues where the strokes in the final renders look very jagged. (...

Ah, that's why the Google apps don't work. Their links are different. What is a good place to host pictures online that will allow you to link directly to for the purposes of posting here?

So how do you actually post a picture on this site? I can never get the Img function to work to post a pic. https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipMZV_Oyac-JcHPpSjkf76tSR_nfdWINgSgTK2KZ/photo/AF1QipNDH_2ZOfn7Nd4dprEoDpB7a3qvmIntO1TVdEpU I've tried Google drive, Google photos, random pics on the inter...

Re: DRAGON MATRIX v1.0-----Sharing!
Does anyone know if we are allowed to use this plug in for projects? I started trying out the plugin on a new character but when I went to what looks like their website it sounds like you can only use it on models they setup for you. I emailed about a week ago to clarify but never got a response. Ma...

Anime Style Short - Please Critique
xFge6pFuESg I'm finally done with my test project! My goal was to see how close I could get to an anime style and feel using Moho. I would appreciate some honest feedback on that and just the animation in general. Don't worry about offending me! I'm OK if you don't like it and tear it apart, I only...

Re: Character Test
Thanks! @lwaxana - That's the goal I'm trying to achieve, so I'm glad you got that vibe. @Marc, The damping is high, I'll revisit the bone dynamics. I'm animating on 2s and 3s but found out the dynamics will always be animated on every frame due to how they work so I was trying to minimize the hair ...

Character Test
An update on the character I'm working on. Now the head turn has a body! Testing how it works in an animation. Hopefully I will have a short completed soon with this character.

Re: Constrain bone dynamics to animate only on 2s?
Thanks for the info Greenlaw, I was afraid that would be the answer. I'll take a look at the AE method. This is a test project so not super critical if the dynamics don't work exactly as expected. Next time I'll probably take a different approach for the hair.

Constrain bone dynamics to animate only on 2s?
I'm animating my project on 2s and have the keyframe interval set to 2. I also have bone dynamics driving some animation for hair which is still animating on every frame instead of 2s. Is it possible to constrain the movement of the bone dynamics to 2s?
