Re: Setting exported animated GIF to not loop?

Hi, synthsin75. Thanks for the reply. Ya, I can also do it in Photoshop as well... I was just wondering if Moho itself had that sort of option, and I wasn't seeing it. I prefer to use Moho to make the GIFs (as opposed to Photoshop... I've abandoned Adobe products). I was really glad to see Moho did ...

Setting exported animated GIF to not loop?

Hi. I was really pleased to see that I could make looping animated GIFs with Moho. But, I'm at a point now where I'd also love to be able to make non-looping versions, but there doesn't appear to be any control/setting to do that on export. Am I just missing something? (If not, I'd love to see that ...

Not sure how to do this (if possible): Heirarchy swap layer

Hi. I'm hoping someone can point out if this sort of thing can be done (in Moho Pro 13), and if so, how... What I am basically after is creating a multi-directional (facing) character rig, but rather than doing the standard (vector) way, of creating dials that control an action which morphs the char...

Re: Checking in with some questions...

Cool demo reels, BTW!

Man, you got to work at R&H! Jealous....

I really love the chalky backgrounds in some of the Dreamworks reel... reminds me of some of the production art for classic Disney films.

Re: Checking in with some questions...

Hi, Greenlaw. Thanks again for the really helpful and interesting response. Much appreciated! Thanks for checking out that animation. I literally was learning Moho at the time, and it was a real indication of how easy to use and how powerful Moho is. Previous (AfterEffect) animations were good, but ...

Re: Checking in with some questions...

Hi, Greenlaw. Thanks for the response! Yep, I have the CS6 Production Suite. I've been using AfterEffects extensively for pretty close to my entire career. No complaints with that. But, I'm stopped updating at CS6, due to the whole subscription thing. AE serves me well to this day, but I'm starting ...

Checking in with some questions...

Hi. It's been a while since I've been to the forums. Some questions... -Is this forum still a thing? (Active, official, etc) I'm confused by the (relatively) recent changes to the whole Moho/Smith Micro status, and am not really sure where anything stands (...as, I suspect, few do). -So, probably a ...

Re: HTML5 export in near future?

Fair enough... It's weird, though. The only reason I'm even looking into alternatives is because Moho support won't comment on whether they'd even consider HTML5 export capability in any future release. I have no idea why they would be so secretive. I don't know if I can just wait, or look for some ...

Re: HTML5 export in near future?

@jahnocli: Ya, Dueyftw mentioned that earlier in this thread. But, I'm wondering if Gamemaker Pro or Fusion 2.5 could do it as well, since I have both of those already. Anyone know if either of those programs could work to make animated headers (with gotoAndPlay() commands going to random sections o...

Re: HTML5 export in near future?

Hey, regarding the whole HTML5 export thing... among all the other possible alternatives (if Moho5 doesn't end up with HTML5 export), could anyone tell me if I would be able to use Gamemaker Pro (with the HTML5 export module) to create animated HTML5 headers for my website (which has gotoAndPlay wit...

Re: HTML5 export in near future?

Yep, for sure... It's not like I'm having to trade in AE if I start using Fusion. I just watched a demo session of Fusion, and was blown away. Love it. I have already downloaded it, and will be installing it very soon. Thanks again for reminding me about it! In the last year or so, I've pretty much ...

Re: HTML5 export in near future?

Oh, ya! I keep forgetting about Fusion. Good call! It seems similar enough to Nuke, that I at least would be able to transition to Nuke if I got an opportunity to join an FX house. Get some 'Nuke' practice... I used Nuke for the first time a while back, working at a 3D conversion place. I have the n...

Re: HTML5 export in near future?

@Greenlaw: Thanks for the response. Ya, Adobe is focusing on HTML5 and phasing out Flash... but I'm on CS6, and will never go on subscription/CC. Beyond me not liking the licensing, Adobe shafted me and my work partner, so I won't be purchasing any further Adobe products. I still use AfterEffects al...

Re: HTML5 export in near future?

I own Clip Studio Pro and Moho 12, and had briefly looked at Motion Artist back when I was getting Moho (10, I think). Although it looked neat, it seemed redundant, as I thought I could do the same thing in Moho, or AfterEffects, for that matter. So, until now, I have sort of ignored it. I'm still h...

Re: Timeline control?

I actually got an answer in the General Discussion forum (...Moho's scripting is purely for animation creation, and not timeline control).

Feel free to comment/add to that if you like.
