Sorry, I haven't been on the forum in a while! It does work with Moho. It's just a tablet+pen, so it works with every software, just like any kind of mouse would work with any software.

Re: Default Export Setting for Images w/Alpha

As mentioned earlier, it depends on which program you composite with. For example, I read that Avid users will need straight alpha but Final cut users will prefer premultiplied. The software should be able to use either, as it's the same process: multiplying RGB values against the alpha values. Tha...

Re: Default Export Setting for Images w/Alpha

From my perspective, the software you'll be bringing the assets into is irrelevant. When you premultiply your asset, you're changing the value of your semi-transparent pixels to include values from the background. If you're exporting the asset to composite it in AE etc., you want those pixels unprem...

Default Export Setting for Images w/Alpha

When you select "Image Sequence" as your format, and choose an image type that can have an alpha channel (PNG, TIFF, Etc.) Moho should automatically check "Do not premultiply alpha channel" My thought is that It's exceedingly likely that if someone is exporting an image sequence ...

synthsin75 wrote: Sun Aug 30, 2020 7:19 pm Since you still have an install left, you can always use the Moho Exporter on the render computer, even while using Moho on another, as they are two different programs (installed by the same installer).
That is a handy piece of info I knew nothing about. Thank you!

Re: Separate Dimensions doesn't work

Woah! I've never seen that before. I use the graph more than soap, that seems very strange. Does it happen a lot? LOL same! Yeah, as far as I can tell, it happens every time you try and paste a keyframe. Might be some special circumstances where it doesn't happen. Pretty shocked that I've...

Re: Separate Dimensions doesn't work

I wonder if this explains why I sometimes feel like I have no idea what I'm doing in the motion graph... LOL That is a distinct possibility! I'm crossing all my fingers and toes that this, and a bunch of other--possibly related--motion graph bugs, get ironed out soon-ish. Working in separate dimens...

Separate Dimensions doesn't work

HWmp8VD5R04 Just discovered another bug in the graph editor. It's pretty bad, as it wrecks the curves of one axis, while you're likely only looking at the other. So you're happily going along, not realizing that your keyframes are silently being destroyed. Yikes! I absolutely LOVE Moho, but all the...

Re: Pennywise the Clown

Thanks y'all! in Moho I can never remember the rules when I'm animating. One thing I really enjoy is the color points and it's a lot easier to animate too (for me anyway) Interestingly enough--through sheer dumb luck--I must have rigged it in the correct fashion, because I didn't run into any issues...

Pennywise the Clown

Finally managed to finish up another little personal project in the short flashes of time between paid work! I really experimented with gradients and blurs in this one, to try and give it more dimension and 'light' than I usually have in my work. I was a lot heavier, of course, but I'm pretty happy ...

Re: It's time for non-modal property panels

That would be a great upgrade to the Moho UI. Having to open up a panel for something like opacity animation is a pain in the ass.

Re: Demo Reel: How Important?

You definitely want something to show prospective employers, but it doesn't need to be mind-blowing, especially if you're trying to get your foot in the door. You'll just be hired on in some junior position suitable to your experience level. Definitely agree with slowtiger about being easy to work w...

Ahhh gotcha! Ya know, McCoy Buck is a really good teacher, I wonder if he would be open to some tutoring... Might be worth reaching out! He's got a YouTube channel...a facebook group (Can't remember the name off the top of my head), and he's on this forum (mtbuck24). Wouldn't hurt to send him a mess...

Some resources for writing: This is a class from Second City that is all about writing for animation. Sounds like it covers a lot of what you'd need to know. The class is 3 hours a week for 7 weeks. I've taken classes from Second City online, and they were great. https://www.secondcity.com/classes/t...

OMG I can't believe I never thought of this! Sometimes I just can't get a bone color to have enough contrast to be clearly visible. What a great solution. Thanks for posting this feature request!
