Oh, I see. I'm pretty sure somewhere in this video is an example of the character's arm going behind their back. I don't know offhand of any other videos.

Re: How do you make points go in front and behind other vectors
That's Great! I'd still like an image or video representing the solution so that I could know if I'm doing it right or not and to make sure it's actually what you meant If you try to animate the hand moving behind the back and it doesn't work, then perhaps make a video and post it to the forum, or ...

Re: How do you make points go in front and behind other vectors
I thought I'd write a step-by-step about Visibility. . .but then I realized there are a lot more steps than I thought. I now suggest you use Animate Layer Order . You'll be happy to know that you don't have to duplicate the arm! :D Basically, rig your character so that the Arm+hand and the Body are ...

Re: How do you make points go in front and behind other vectors
In my opinion, one of the easiest solutions involves Layer Visibility. Nothing else, just good ol' Layer Visibility. Make 3 vector layers (or groups of vector layers), in this order: R Arm+hand Body R Arm+hand Both layers of R Arm+hand are controlled by the same bones, so they move exactly the same ...

Line Boil
Line Boil is tricky, and many times I run into problems. I'd like to see a button that says Line Boil, and when I click it, a slider-bar pops up, and the more I slide the slider to the right, the more the line boils. Also, it would be fantastic if the default vector stroke could line boil. Also also...

Re: How do you make points go in front and behind other vectors
. . .it's not really a complicated wrap around (or maybe it is idk) You know how you had to use 2 images to illustrate what you wanted to do, not just 1? That's because it's complicated . There is no easy solution where the arm+hand is behind and also in front of your character. If the arm+hand is ...

Re: Line boil won't change.
I have never been able to figure-out how to use Line Boil. It sounds simple, but it never works like I want it to. Like, a shape I left unselected on a layer with boiling shapes will kinda boil a little, even though it was not selected. It's like, something always goes awry. Generally, whenever I ne...

Re: Term for voice acting to create video reference
With the three dimensions you point out [which I'll adapt to include not just voice but all the other sounds so: (visual elements, sound, story)] the overall quality is clearly influenced (dragged down) by the lowest quality element. And to put a nuance on your observation that a bad story is a qua...

Re: Term for voice acting to create video reference
so, potentially, you could use an _actor_ (and maybe only one) who can read all the lines and "perform" as the character would (IOW not necessarily a voice actor)? You're right, a voice actor is not needed. A regular actor would work just fine. I agree; one actor could do all the parts, a...

Re: Term for voice acting to create video reference
so you get someone to read it and give you the body language, then get a computer to speak it! well ... ok ... it's your production and your pipeline ... No, that's not the process. All the TTS is done . Animation is what's happening now. The problem is that the animation could be better in places....

Re: How do you make points go in front and behind other vectors
In a general sense, what you want to do with the lower part of the arm and hand is not possible. Imagine a grilled cheese sandwich. You evidently desire the cheese to exist between two pieces of toasted bread, but also atop of the upper piece of bread. We exist in a world with molecules and atoms, a...
