Re: Term for voice acting to create video reference
so, potentially, you could use an _actor_ (and maybe only one) who can read all the lines and "perform" as the character would (IOW not necessarily a voice actor)? You're right, a voice actor is not needed. A regular actor would work just fine. I agree; one actor could do all the parts, a...

Re: Term for voice acting to create video reference
so you get someone to read it and give you the body language, then get a computer to speak it! well ... ok ... it's your production and your pipeline ... No, that's not the process. All the TTS is done . Animation is what's happening now. The problem is that the animation could be better in places....

Re: How do you make points go in front and behind other vectors
In a general sense, what you want to do with the lower part of the arm and hand is not possible. Imagine a grilled cheese sandwich. You evidently desire the cheese to exist between two pieces of toasted bread, but also atop of the upper piece of bread. We exist in a world with molecules and atoms, a...

LOL
I know that was a joke, but I like how you constructed a gerund from bofur.
"Bofuring" is now an official word. Somebody notify Webster.

Re: Term for voice acting to create video reference
Wow, I get to name a thing? I think I'll call it "Body and Facial Reference": abbreviated BFR . Pronounce it Bofur -- like the dwarf from LotR. Here are the rules of grammar I just invented: The process itself is called Bofur. As in: "He does both voice-over and Bofur." The video...

Term for voice acting to create video reference
Is there a term for contracting a voice actor to do a reading, but not for their vocal performance, but for the video reference of their body and facial expressions while performing so the video can be used as a reference when animating?

Re: changing layer origin affecting position
I'm glad you found a solution. Whenever I'm trying to remember a Moho process that I forgot how to do, I sometimes make mistakes while searching for the correct result. Sometimes those mistakes create strange behaviors that make no sense to me. Whenever that happens, I find it's often easier (and qu...

Re: Identifying which style colors a shape
STYLE INFO Thanks for writing that. You answered my nebulous question in a way that answered my question and my follow-up questions. I feel like a video game character that just added another skill point in Moho. 8) Your post made me search "UX." That's a nifty term. ("User Experienc...

Re: moho pro 'could not open file'?
No, anywhere is fine. But wherever you save the file, that's where Moho looks for it next time.
Instead of using File > Open Recent, try navigating to the file and double-click it to open it.

Re: changing layer origin affecting position
I've seen a lot of problems, but never that. This is how I would proceed. First, delete the old, bad eye. Something is seriously wrong with it. Then create a new group layer called R Eye. Add however many empty vector layers you'll need. Go into the "good" eye folder and copy the p...

Re: Bones not working on layer 1
Did you accidentally set your animation to begin playing on frame 2? Weird. Maybe start a new project file, draw a rectangle, add a root bone and a bone in a bone layer, bind the rectangle layer to the bone and test again. It'll only a minute to set-up, but sometimes reducing a Moho problem to it's ...
