Oops, never mind!

Derrr, I just realized there is a new serial number provided with my receipt.

Thanks anyway! I know you all would have been helpful if I hadn't figured that out!

Confusion with registering Anime Pro

When I first purchased Moho way back in the industrial age, I received a serial number for it. Then some time went by and my serial number was valid for upgrades for a while. Then at one point, there was a fairly major upgrade, and I paid a small amount of money to receive an "upgrade code"...

Cribble: no, I meant it in the self-righteous bumper sticker sense.

I promise not to tell your wife that while your lips may be saying "soda", your mind is still thinking "pop". I grew up saying "pop", and no one questioned it, said any differently, or raised an issue until I went to college. Then I guess I was somehow assimilated, even...

What did I miss?

I've been absent. I don't know why! I've had internet access all along so I can't use that as an excuse. I have the Lost Marble forum in a folder of links called "Daily stuff" that I see every day when I "open in tabs" in Firefox, so it's always there in front of me. But for some...

Alas, no such choice under File. :? Maybe it's a "Quicktime Pro" thing or whatever.

I'm noticing right now that mencode doesn't seem to support .BMP for still input files. That's too bad, I have a folder of 'em right now and I'm currently sitting at the iBook (yes, there is a mencode for OSX). Maybe some kind of batch converter could give me my short-term fix .... I still wish moho...

I pretty much agree with you on this anyway, Kdiddy. I just raised the playback thing because you mentioned the graphics card, and I thought video playback made use of the ram/processing in those (not an expert). What I would say is, don't base the choice on Moho, since it's perfectly suited for Win...

Even if moho itself doesn't make use of graphics cards, it doesn't hurt to be able to watch your rendered movie on the same machine you rendered it on, without skipping, etc. Also, if your export format is .mov, there's just something about trying to use Quicktime on a PC that's like pounding a squa...

So far, it did seem to fix it for me. I rendered several different things in a row, no problem. Saved, unsaved, with various shading effects, etc.

I realize this is a small sample to go on, but it was hanging on me at least 50% of the time before.

It doesn't throw any error. It just hangs, like there's some infinite loop it gets stuck in towards the end of the rendering process. I have to go back to the terminal window, hit control-C and it just goes back to a regular prompt. Or is there something else that I'm supposed to do here? I'm new to...

For me it stays in permanent "render..." without ever saying "done", and I can't close the render window or access any other part of the program, so I have to do a force quit. I emailed LM about this but I think this was just before the holidays kicked in, so I understand if it g...
