Hi all. I'm still desperate to get the Crash Core scripts working again. I didn't quite understand the previous discussion on restoring images that would explain how to get around the SaveBool error that comes up on a bunch of the scripts? (In particular I need to shift keyframes around) I looked ba...

This is definitely a bug on Intel macs only. I ran countless successful Anim Exports on my old power book (powerpc). Recently upgraded to a MacBook Pro with Intel and I'm starting to hit this same problem. Batch Export seems to get around it nicely. Thanks. Incidentally, the bug persists in 5.5 that...

I found flashfilmmaker.com (now 2dcgi.com) a while ago.
Lots of very talented long-timers over there. Very traditional animation bent (i.e., software is not going to do the work for you) but lots of help and good vibe.

This is a nice technique.
I've setup simpler pupil masked eyes and animated just by transforming the mask layer. Is there any reason using bones is more advantageous?

I looked at your file. The non-functional screen right arm has had the points unbound somehow. Select all the points in that arm, then choose Bone->Flexi-bind Points. Makes the arm functional again. Then you'll have to deal with the other issues in getting a character like yours looking pro. I feel ...

Speaking of expensive options, I was reading a bit about Animo.
Anyone know how much it costs? It's kind of well kept secret on the web it seems. Wonder if it solves any of these issues...

Thanks for the ideas Mikdog. They did make sense (mostly). I'll probably just be animating a simple mask shape for the few frames where the arm goes behind. But for the future I'll keep your techniques in mind. Ya know what I'd really like though? (don't posts wander down this road too often). I'd l...

Depth Sorting for Masking Problem

Hi all. I've spent a good chunk of time searching these forums for a solution to a fairly simple problem I'm having but have had no luck. I've got a zombie attacking a human and his rear arm needs to go behind the human to indicate the 'hugging' quality I'm after. So I need to mask the zombies backg...

Okay, thanks. It seems a script would be fairly easy to put together for what I need. Just to be totally clear: I have built a character in Photoshop (cut-out style), with switch layers for face and arm positions, etc. I've made updates to the character and his bounding box changed since there's new...

Multi keyframe offsets

Hello all. I'm looking for a script or technique in Anime Studio Pro that will let me add an offset in translation to every keyframe in a layer. Specifically, I've updated some imagery in Photoshop and need to nudge it into place but I already have a bunch of keyframes laid down. So procedurally I w...

Layer Blur Radius Minimum too big

I wanted to add a bit of blur to my background using the layer 'blur radius' feature of AnimeStudio. However the minimum blur appears to be 1 (I'm assuming 1 pixel) which is too much for what I want. I don't suppose there's any way to avoid using another app for this feature? I'd also imagine this w...
