Re: select shape in a different layer?

Or is your intention to select multiple shapes across layers? For that, you'll want to use SimplSam's Multi-layer Transform tool.

Also, a great companion to this tool is A.Evseeva's Multi-layer Magnet

Re: select shape in a different layer?

I should clarify: I'm assuming you have the Select Shape tool selected. (Q selects the Select Shape tool.) The Shortcut Alt+R Click actually selects the layer the shape belongs to. Once the layer is selected, click again without the Alt+R Click modifier to select the shape . BTW, Alt+R Click works w...

Alt+R Click on a visible shape selects the shape and its layer.

Re: extra unwanted stroke to selected objects?

I believe that data is stored in the ProgramData folder, but deleting it won't improve the display situation. All that would do is reset the preferences to their default settings. Also, be careful about removing files from there...removing certain files may break Moho. Can you post the file for othe...

Re: extra unwanted stroke to selected objects?

Just curious, but when you render it, do you see the thin version of the lines or the thick one?

Re: extra unwanted stroke to selected objects?

I'm not sure I've seen this one before, but I'm guessing it's a graphics engine artifact. For the most part, the new graphics engine improves how Moho displays things, but it may occasionally do something odd. To check if this is the cause, turn off GPU Caching in the Display Options. When the optio...

Re: Merge layers?

BTW, if you ever need to do the opposite and break apart a vector drawing into multiple layers, use the RT Break Apart Shapes command under Scripts > Layer Effects. I had to use this command for the very first time last week, and it did the job perfectly! (Tip: You need to select the points of all t...

Re: Merge layers?

Here's one: Merge Vector Layers Note that this tool doesn't account for layer transformations, but It's good practice not to transform artwork layers in the setup frame 0; better to transform the points directly instead. If you have transformed any layers at frame 0 differently from other layers in ...

Re: I can't enter or save my serial number

Which version of Moho? If it's an old Smith Micro one, you need to use the final installer for that version because their servers no longer exist. If it's a newer Lost Marble version (13.5 - 14.x,) you might have exceeded the activation limit (you're allowed 3 activations.) Fortunately, you can rese...

Re: Create cycles without the keyframing box popping up?

Any of the modes with the ellipsis in its name will open a window.

What I do is I move the window off to the side and close it, and Moho will remember its position so it's out of the way then next time I invoke it.

Is it not remembering the window position on your system?

Oh I see, I guess it is that complicated after all, Now I'd like to explore other ways of accomplishing this wrap around There are many ways to set up wraparound limbs in Moho. After 10+ years of using Moho in production work, I've stumbled through them all by now. What I described above has been t...

Re: Paint bucket in tutorial

The proper way to change the color of a shape is to select it with the Select Shape tool and change the shape's color in the Style window. Like this... https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/aalebbfc1dxkqryrrcjj3/changeColor.gif?rlkey=goy73rrfd2xs39l6g7n8nvwvd&raw=1 This doesn't mean the Paint Bucket to...

Re: How do you make points go in front and behind other vectors

Basically, you want to split the limb at the main joint. So, for an arm limb, you split it at the elbow, and for a leg limb, you split it at the knee. It's not enough to draw a curve across the joint; you need to use the curve to create two separate shapes for the limb: one for the upper half of the...

Re: DKWROOT Scripts ( Lots of Improvements )

The links I posted above for the scripts are active. Clicking either of them should launch your browser's download window.

I checked Leks Luci's links, and they lead to a download page. The links on the page still work.

Re: reverse curve direction?

Even though it's rare when I've had to do the above, it makes me think we should have Mirror and Rotate options in the Brushes window.
