Re: My first Animations in ASP 11 :)

The Squirrel vs Bunny joke made me laugh way too hard. Good stuff.

The Rioting Pants Music Video

Just posted my first animated music video, for "Me and a Douche and a Bag" by The Rioting Pants, who do the music for my cartoon "The Monster Show". Very much a Scooby-Doo homage but hopefully my own style still comes through. I used Anime Studio 9 and 10 in tandem--some things I...

Many thanks. We try hard to keep it fast-paced.

"The Monster Show" Episode 7

Hey folks, This is the "lost" sequel to our 2012 Christmas episode; I'd abandoned it after a false start in '13 but we decided to resume work on it this year. Not my favourite episode to be perfectly honest but it'd be perverse to suppress so labour-intensive a project. Without further ado...

Re: "The Monster Show" Episode 6 - 'Bunga'

Good job on completing the very large amount of work required for a 9 minute complete segment. The animation was funny, great play on words with Leviathong, and funny scene with the blood tears and his disgusted look. And of course, the first wish, what else would it be for any young man and you le...

Re: "The Monster Show" Episode 6 - 'Bunga'

definitely a watchable show, the radio was really well drawn, if you could make some of the other backgrounds fit that animation quality it would be excellent, the story and pacing is great, cheers. Yeah, backgrounds are probably my Achilles heel but I like to think they've improved since we starte...

Re: "The Monster Show" Episode 6 - 'Bunga'

The evolution of interest to horror on Dude's face during the commercial at the beginning was perfect. No need to see the ad - his face says it all. This is a great cartoon! My initial reaction was "9 minutes? Oh noooooooooooo!" But it really went by quickly thanks to the story and terrif...

Re: AS Pro 9.5 crashes

Definitely the camera move, yes. In fact unless the camera stays exactly where it is on frame zero, it crashes. I'm on a PC, though. Should clarify that it's only when outputting as H.264.

AS Pro 9.5 crashes

Got 9.5 last week, and while I love it, it doesn't like any camera movement, and crashes every time I export a shot (via QuickTime, in 32-bit mode) with even the simplest pan in it. I intend to report this bug officially, but was wondering if anybody else has encountered this problem and whether the...

Re: Encoding options disappeared (Anime 8 Pro 8.2)

Yeah, the image sequence options are still there but they're not ideal for my purposes. QT was there, as was MP4, which is what I used to use. Files were 10-20mb, now with AVI they're nearly 300mb, and I've used up all my scratch disk space. Anyway, Anime 8.2 is 32-bit only. I may have spoken too s...
