Indeed all that can end up being a real pain

Have you got any plans for being able to stick details to the rigs, like eyes, hair, etc...?

I somehow missed your edited post. It's great to see some one else using this. I'm still working on the head. Synth, As you could might see in the first vid the flexi-binding and the fact that I'm trying to keep the belly "large", had me forced to move some of the controlled bones.. which...

Thanks for sorting that out for me :) I'll play some more with the rig now :) --edit I've tried the technique on a rig of my own now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OmAQStMToY The head turn is a good old fashioned switch layer interpolation as I can't figure out how to make it with bones: http://ww...

Hey synth.. I've been playing around with your rig and made a similar rig for one of my own figures... What I might have missed is the advantage in your point binding... But in my current test rig (just a torso) I tried using auto/flexi binding the points and set sensible bone strengths to it and ha...

Nifty idea and work Synth! I can't seem to find out why the bones with scale constraints on the hip, waist and upper torso are moving towards eachother when their constraints are set to bind with the bones in the spine? where's the connection between them and the handles you scale to rotate the part...

Thank you for your time to discuss the issue :)

... You can edit and save another copy of a file but you can't open it using lua. ... darn :/ Hmm.. so only things possible would be either do it without reading the file and manipulate internally... (which is not quite possible as I understand? or?) or.. the nasty: if LUA can execute commands on t...

Hmm... I feel kind of sad I didn't post this when we had the discussion I know this is a late answer.. But I was crusing the forums and fell over this thread again... I actually think a convert script could be written to do the job. Now, I haven't fiddled with scripts yet... But if you can manipulat...

Here my wery short list! I only dream of one thing in a future anime studio!! 1. What I miss is a really good frame by frame support! There´s no application out there where you can make "disney-quality" classic animation (meaning frame by frame animation with nice colors and fine black ou...

Yes of course it could be changed with search and replace... But why bother with scripting? Why make us go to all that effort because they change the name? Only the script writers would be effected and we don't care if it says "moho.document:Layer()" or "anme.document:Layer()" I...

A good old regular expression or even a string search and replace couldn't do the trick?
