Re: Python Scripting for AS

There are some very intensive maths applications and scientists using python so performance is not an issue. scripts by their nature glue things together and the performance bottleneck would be ASP ;). I'd go as far as to say its by far the simplest language for a none-programmer to pick up and its a synch to expose c/c++ code to an interpreter from a techie point of view...

Interesting enough to bring me out of retirement. Might consider it if the features are good enough.

I can see where everyone is comming from and the lack of feedback is a little worrying but I'm sure the is a classic case of poor estimation and scope creep. Gilles has set out to create a set of tutorials and people's expectations have been raised. He's probably added more and more and his circumst...

If ASP had an xml export format or its scripting language was in something I knew ... I would have a bash as writing an export script.. depends what you want to export - if it's "just" a (set of) static image(s) then render and save? Or you maybe don't need to learn LUA to do this. The .a...

So I figure I can do this a couple of ways: 1. Simply animate every action such as walk, jump, wave etc and ...

I've all but given up visiting the site as I'm sick of the noise.(i know I generate my own kind of noise) I'll keep popping back if I need some help but seriously.. its not hard to manage this stuff.
