Re: Display Quality options

What version of AS are you using? I can't dig up any pertinent examples because I haven't been on this forum for a while, but there have been various rendering/display issues covered in the past. Also, with zooming, I tend to try and draw characters at "100%" - basically I would have a dif...

That is LAME!

I just bought AS9 because of the new features (haven't touched 8 for a year) and then hit a wall with this. I was wondering what the hell was going, and yep, straight away I boot up 32bit AS9 and it works immediately. So on that point - where's the benefit in using 64 bit? More RAM? Does it help wit...

That was great. Honestly didn't see how it ended up developing coming from the start. Love it.

Re: My Entry for "Steve and the Alien Contest"

Nice Neeters - what a great idea for a tutorial as well. I will have to give this a go at some in the future. Wish I had the time now, would be nice to score a free copy of version 8!

Re: Dock Layer Window ????

I think Ctrl + [ or ] will do that (from memory, I don't have AS on the computer I'm on)

Re: Import Illustrator files with many points :(

I'm fairly certain I read somewhere that AS supports SVG best in terms of point for point replication when importing into AS. Don't quote me, I might have been reading about future features in regards to SVG format.

Hey Mikdog - it's come together good man :-D I couldn't really fault it. I feel like I am having a flashback from the 80s watching RAGE (Australia music show) on a Saturday morning as a kid :-D

I don't think you'll see anti-aliasing whilst working in AS - you will see that result when you export your animations. You can set your workspace to display at "High Quality" but whilst working on your animation it's best to work at Low/Medium quality. It's easier on your resources, but I...

Garrys' Mod is on Steam (I think that's the only place you can purchase it) on is based on Valves Source engine. Still very popular today, originally made for use with Half Life 2 but I think there quite a lot you can import and use from other Source games and 3D materials.

I think it's pretty tight. Nice transitions, motion and depth in cinema is convincing.

I don't have 3D glasses so can't comment on it's effect.

Good job I think 8)

Downloaded file and lines have the "jaggies" when I load in 7 and 8, and same deal on both when I render. Don't have time to upload my renders right now, but will do when I get back from work.
