changing stroke color

I think I read about this earlier but can't find.

I simply want to change the stroke color on a layer or shape, however you want to look at it. The outline of my object. I can paint bucket for fill but stroke is another story.

Thanks

There used to be a fairly active Poser Group over at DeviantArt. You might try there. Also check if Facebook or Yahoo has a group. They might know of some forums. They had some poser art there but nothing in the way of forums. Appreciate the help though. Still searching. Im suprized tho. Youd think...

I think I fixed it. Im using a small character. 96 X128 pixels. I thickened up the lines and that seemed to fix it.

I'm still not sure what the problem is, but I tried an experiment. Here's a screen grab (enlarged 200%) of two sprites imported into GM7: http://s288.photobucket.com/albums/ll171/mlim888/gmk_screenshot2.jpg The middle image is a stilll png exported as is from AS. The alpha is antialiased in the ori...

There is no such thing as a round pixel. All pixels are rectangular, with the most being square (on computers), and some non-square, like in PAL video or elsewhere in the TV world . AS renders square pixels by default, which is the standard in computer video formats. Are you possibly referring to &...

Maybe your graphics need to be down sampled before importing into GameMaker. I haven't used GameMaker in years, so I'm just guessing. Could you give me an example of what you mean? I exported to png. Then Game maker loads the png and converts it to whatever it converts sprites to. Plus Im a rookie ...

Round to square pixles conversion?

I'm using the characters I create with AS Pro to use with a program called Game Maker 8 Pro. It renders it's sprites with square pixels. So it looks like it's been degraded somewhat. I never knew there was a difference in the shape of a pixel till now. So question is, can I produce .png files with s...

Saving changing the size of the viewing screen (Solved)

I need to save frames 96 X 128 pixels in size. Can that be done? Also can I change the size of the viewing screen itself?

Thanks

Create a group or bone layer, put all character layers into that, reposition that new top layer in frame #0 or 1. That was actually the first thing I tried. I tried 0 first but then frame 1 popped back to the center of the screen (the original position). Then I tried frame 1 but all the rest of the...

1- I'm not sure if this is your problem, but you can always move the camera instead the characters. 2- There is an old trick to move layer keyframes all by one, without having to adjust each keyframe. It's using the graph mode. I wrote a pseudo tutorial in 2008, it wasn't a too famous thread, but y...

OK. My bad. Some how the the parcan layers were set to lumesy. When I added them, it kind of worked but you could still see some trancperency up there. I just set them all back to normal and poof. I think I know what might have happened before. I would hit cntr and hit wrong keys by mistake. and did...
