Ok got it to work - it was because the bone layer was in a folder...hopefully ASP fixes/changes that.

Re: Track Bone To Video

Yeah, the manual does seem to be missing anything on this. Try this: 1. Don't put the video layer inside the bone layer 2. Select a bone 3. Track Bone to Video should now be available Selecting the movie layer and track point should lay bone animation keyframes. Video layer was separate the whole t...

Track Bone To Video

So I put in tracking points into a video with a character and the option "track bone to video" is greyed out, no matter what I do or highlight. There's no documentation or tutorials on how to track bones to a tracking point. Is this a dead feature? And no I'm not talking about track layer ...

Re: New Webinars?

Hi everyone, At Smith Micro we will be working on new webinars for next months. I want to cover the basics, specially to show new users the power of AS/Moho, but also more complex stuff for advanced users. Do you have any topic you would want to be covered? Is there anything you think should be on ...

Anime Studio into Manga Studio Request

I'd love to import Anime Studio Pro rigs into Manga Studio, so as not to redraw the same characters ad nauseum. Also great for storyboards even if comics aren't your thing.

Anyone else with me?

3D Anime Studio - Sitcom / Series Ep 1 - "Crappy Cards"

Hello all,

Been working on this the past few months and finally released it (for my BDay).

And all done in Anime Studio Pro with some AE compositing - the 3D modeling is made with ASP, no external software.

I'd like to know your thoughts,

Thanks,

Gary

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio

Big one When switching views ie - TOP BOTTOM LEFT RIGHT ETC, can you retain the angle / zoom ? IE if you pick top view to double check something and have to pan and zoom a bunch it would be nice when you switch back to camera/front view and have to go back to Top view to retain the same view point p...

You'll see what I mean, they are very different tools stick to the shape fill whenever you can.
I know you don't have to use the bucket, but just odd how inconsistent the paint bucket is.

Re: Paint bucket glitches

The bucket is different to the shape's fill. Have a look into it, the shape can be filled without using the bucket, they have two different advantages and purposes. I f you can get away with using the bucket and just turning on the fill then , it is best to do so, save the bucket for freehand fills...

Re: ASP 11 Smart Bone glitches

Could the reason the tongue doesn't show up be because it is in a bone group in a normal folder within another bone group? Maybe try converting all folders in that path to bone groups, I don't think it would make any negative difference. Just a thought. I actually tried that - I took out the tongue...
