The only thing I see TB6 can do that (as far as I know) AS can't is stop-motion animation and time-lapse photography. The other feature it has that is very useful is the ability to import and vectorise images - great when you want to import line drawings and colour them digitally. If AS could impor...

Good grief. It looks like TB bought a copy of AS and just duplicated the bones. I thought exactly the same thing when I watched the video. I own Toon Boom Studio 5, Animate 2 and ASP7, but I still prefer ASP7 over the other two for its bones, point animation and switch layers (I don't find TB's dra...

I import PSD's from Photoshop CS4 directly into ASP7 with no problem and no need for scripts on either side. See my post above.

I have Photoshop CS4 and I have no problem importing PSD files directly into ASP7Pro using File-Import-Image. No need for a script! The key is go into Photoshop's preferences, under File Handling, and set "Maximise PSD and PSB File Compatibility" to "Always". This will generate a...

Worm and lump

While going through some old backup DVDs today I found two "Worm and Lump" movies made in Moho back in 2000 - whatever happened to those guys?

Actually, that's exactly what you do. The .anme file and the .png file should be in the same folder in the library and have the same name.

@neeters_guy - thanks for the links to the existing topics. That solution using circles in the joins is very neat, I'll probably go with that for my immediate needs.

Every day I'm more and more amazed what I can do better in ASP compared to Animate :)

An enhanced colour picker

One thing I'm missing in ASP compared to Toon Boom Animate is the ability to choose colours via H/S/V rather than R/G/B. H/S/V is a much nicer way to choose colours - if I want to create a shadow colour for the side of a blue box, I can use the Value slider to darken it without changing the actual b...

Lines with rounded ends

Right now lines have square ends, which is especially noticeable on thick likes. If there was an option to make the end round rather than square I think that would be nice for certain drawings. I did try to emulate it using a round brush but it doesn't work well.

Nice work, great looking characters, convincing acting. Just one thing that looked odd to me; should the side of the chair cover Lolli's hip? The chair doesn't look like it has raised sides ... ?
