I'm fairly new to animation. I'm not sure if anyone else has had a problem like this before. If I want to draw realism or even photorealism, I'm great at it. Then when I try my hand at cartooning, I fail. Big time. Is that common? For some odd reason, smooth and simple lines just don't come natural ...

That's so silly. On the package the softaware comes in, there is a whole section dedicated to the direct upload to youtube. This is why I was so frustrated when I tried it and it didn't work. They made it seem as if it was some wonderful feature, but it doesn't even work. Ha!

That is what I kept trying to do, but for some reason youtube wouldn't accept it, because it was .anme, even when i did the the direct upload. So I have to to export it to Quicktime each time and then go to youtube to upload it out of my documents.

Under Project Settings, there is a default Youtube option, I just always choose that in case I want to post it. It's 640x480, and the frame rate is about 25 fps. I just had a problem with the way the file was saving. I didn't know i had to export it to something like Quicktime, which is what i used,...
