Large Anime Studio 8 File running slowly
I have a 73MB saves anime file. It is large because it has essentially 12 characters created by the character wizard. The response is very slow - long delays between a command and seeing results. For example, Go to move a layer, and it doesn't appear to move, wait 20 seconds and then it moves. I ass...

Missing Audio from .mov file import
I am playing around with the video tracking feature in Anime STudio 7 and I am finding that .AVI files import the audio channel, but .MOV files only have the video. What am I doing wrong? The source video file is IMG, but imports as .MOV. The audo imports into Premiere Elements fine, but not into AS7.

Force Field Failure
I feel like an idiot, but I am still not getting it. I made gravity 0 so there was no interaction. I put two objects next to each other with force fields set to 50, 75 (i.e. high) and they had no impact on each other - nothing moved despite keyframes automatically on the timeline. I tried it with ob...

rotate extruded shape
Is there a way to rotate an extruded shape so it appears to be viewd by a different angle. I am not referring tot he camera, that sees the who scene, but just an individual shape.
Another way of saying this is can I change the angle of the extrusion or is it fixed?

Force field in physics engine
Has anyone figured out what the force field is supposed to do in the physics engine. As soon as I turn it on, the vector layer object is just pulled off the screen without reacting with the other objects - especially the ground imoveable object?

Thank you, slowtiger! It is amazing how the simplest things can stump you. I find the Anime STudio way of doing things counter-intuitive, but I am slowly getting used to it. Do you have any tips about how to get up the learning curve faster? I joined heyvern's web site, but I am hungry for more. Aga...

I am trying that. I created a simple layer with a vector square and a second layer with a triangle . I created a bone layer and dragged both vector layers into it. I then created two separate bones. I selected each bone, selected one of the layers, and used the bind layer tool to bind the square to ...

Release Bone Layer
Thanks for the response. But for some reason the release layer has no effect. I set up a simple structure with a bone layer with 3 vector sublayers. I created one bone on the bone layer and selected 2 of the three layers and clicked on Bones>eRlease Layer. There was no difference. Moving the bone wi...

Difficulty Manually Binding to a Layer
I would like to create a bone that moves one layer, but does not effect any of the over layers in the bone structure. I think I can use the Bind Layer tool. Kelly Murdock' book says to: select a bone and a layer that is a sublayer of the bone and click the bind layer tool. I keep trying this to no e...
