I went with Linux Mint, which is largely based on Ubuntu. Works well except wifi issues on my laptop.

Post a Paypal Donate button on one of your web pages. I don't have a PayPal account, and do not want to create one, so can not email you money. Or look into Google Checkout.

Wow! The solid fill drawing works great Rudiger! Bravo! Three features I'd love to see: 1. Ability to adjust the width. For instance, using my Wacom I could not get the line to go thick enough, so I had to go to the original drawing tool change the width to 8 (in the Style menu) then go back to your...

Scour the animatorsforum.com, I believe Synth explained the issue with the FBF script.

A bit sick at the moment, but when I am feeling better I'll check out the freehand tool improvements--excited!

It looks like a solid pink color to me, but if you are using a gradient... Sometimes this happens when an object (especially when used with bones) is moved (bent / stretched) outside the area of the gradient. In AS gradients don't stretch indefinitely. There was another thread somewhere in which Ver...

Best of Fox Contest

I don't think anyone had the time to wade through over 500 animations but here's a few that caught my eye. I know there are a few AS users who posted threads about their entry's, but please post if there was something that may have gone under the radar. This was the funniest entry. The clenching but...

Haven't tried your freehand tool above, not sure what you've changed. I think the angle (sharpness) variables are a necessary inclusion. I LOVE your Brush Tool idea and would be willing to go in with few others on it. However, I think a separate point reduction tool or script will definitely be nece...

Rudiger,

I'm interested, but I'd like to know more of what you plan and exactly how the tool would work. Maybe start a new thread under scripting.

I don't have anything that I can share right now, however, here is a great piece done mostly with the Flash Brush Tool by artist Milton Pool:

I use it for Storyboarding, Rough Animation, Coloring or Fill details...I hardly ever use the Pencil tool in Flash.

I discuss having a Brush Tool here. Try Flash and you'll quickly discover the greatness of the tool:

I DO believe Fazek's "Xsheet" stands for "exposure sheet". In traditional animation you could think of an exposure sheet as a timeline depicting timing of individual frames in a vertical orientation. In AS, Switch Groups are the frame by frame method. So aligning the contents of ...
