Joel the Bookworm – Animated Intro

Animated Intro for a Youtube series where i just haphazardly flip through some of my art and animation books. I think the inspiration is obvious :D Which is probably why i look at his book in the first episode (goes live tomorrow). All done in Moho and After Effects. Hope you like it :) s_NYsotxxqw

Re: What was that name again? – Animated loop for my Moho Webinar

A favourite style of mine as well (see my https://vimeo.com/683946372 . Of course Moho's strength is the smooth transformation, but I think this style asks for mouth shapes with sharp changes, not interpolation. But of course that's a personal design choice. I like the stuff you did with the speech...

What was that name again? – Animated loop for my Moho Webinar

Hi Guys The opportunity to host a Moho Webinar has given me a kick in the butt to finish this little guy whom i had sitting on my harddrive for a while. Was inspired by the awkward situation when you're in a call with somebody and never really caught their name and then it's time to say goodbye... h...

Re: Onion Skin Transparency?

Long Story short, it would be really good to an extent essential to be able to adjust the Onion Skin Transparency.

Re: A Consolidated Timeline Channel for EVERYTHING...

The last little project i did only further confirmed this as my top must-have feature/change of 2024  Here's how i'd structure it more or less: CONSOLIDATED CHANNEL (GRABS EVERYTHING) > -Consolidated Bone Channel --ALL Bone Transform --- Selected Bone Transform -- Vitruvian Bone, etc. ---Select...

Silly Giraffe Walk Cycle

More shenanigans in Moho:

Had the rough key drawings for this guy lying around forever and it was always planned as a rig animation... finally got around doing it.

Re: Select Child/Parent Bones + Shortcut

Yea i know the problem. But in your defense i could've also simply just said:

i want a shortcut selecting bones up and down a chain :D

I just wanted to explain a usecase where that could come in handy. Sometimes it's hard to put that all into text especially in a foreign language hah

Re: Select Child/Parent Bones + Shortcut

Oh! That's very clever, Victor! I was aware of navigating up and down the hierarchy with the arrowkays but never thought of using it this way. But that was my whole proposal    It's basically the Toon Boom trick applied to Moho bones  I just didn't know you could navigate up and...

Re: Select Child/Parent Bones + Shortcut

Sorry, I haven't had time to read the entire thread yet, but about you know you can select the parent of the selected bone by just pressing the Up arrow on the keyboard? If a Pin bone is child of the bone you want to select and it's set to Ignored by IK, it could work as some kind of shortcut to se...

Re: Select Child/Parent Bones + Shortcut

Having it in a separate window, like in the Harmony example you posted, would be fine, too. If the contents of the window could change based on layer selection (i.e., a character's Bones layer,) that would be great! (Kinda like how the Switch Selection window works now.) The stuff in the separate W...

Re: Select Child/Parent Bones + Shortcut

If i have a bone layer and then a buttons layer under that, it already gets me out of the flow because i have to think an extra step to get to those buttons and shovel through layers again. Oh, I was thinking the buttons would be directly clickable without changing layer selection, like with Layer ...

Re: Select Child/Parent Bones + Shortcut

Mmm i don't know if i agree. The goal should be to get as close to have to bother as little as possible with the layer window while animating except obviously to manipulate points and such. Hence why TB does these selector things so that the animators don't have to dig through the node view constant...
