I started off with stop motion, then tried hand drawn after reading Richard William's Animator's Survival Kit, then Anim8or- free 3d software, then Anime Studio. I recently downloaded Blender, but it is really complicated.

I have blender too, but I haven't figured out the video sequencer yet. The best tutorials I have found are on the Blender Wiki Tutorials, but they are pretty disorganized.

Can a script look at data in a file and then create keyframes? It seems like someone could then write a seperate program to make actions, or maybe even a graph editor. You could then work out stuff in that program, have it save its data, and then click the script's button in AS5. I don't know much a...

Has Anime Studio made TV?

Looking for specific answers on google is difficult, so I'll ask you guys.

Freeware is Great

I use a lot of freeware too because I can't afford much. I have Audacity, Blender, Papagayo, Anim8or, and the GIMP. I don't know if commercial software is better than free alternatives, but I will hopefully have a chance to compare the GIMP and Photoshop Elements after my birthday.

You're right. It seems like it would work, but you would have to modify files and this would violate the license.
