I've tried a few times to make 3d objects, (houses, streets and bits)and they've all looked terrible because of the 'perfectly straight lines' you talk about. They end up looking really naive... sketch up does a better job.

thanks for the input people.. some v helpful suggestions, esp email regarding bots and spam.. will address that very soon.

I was sure the text was text... don't know why it's an image.. something to do with the font perhaps? Will investigate.

Thanks again all...

I know this isn't an animation but i've just done a website (for me) and I just wanted some feedback on wether it WORKS in different browsers or on different platforms.. there seem to be some glitches (not all the time, only occasionally, which is more annoying). thanks for your time (in anticipatio...

the eyes are the window to the soul, and the eyebrows the frames... or some old nonsense..
eyebrows and eye shape will give you loads of expression.

they look proportionally very good but my only beef about them is the 'digital flatness'. For ages I have been concerned with the style of characters/animation, it's almost been a search for the 'holy grail' in some mad way.. Shade and detail would give them way more depth - but the more of that, th...

again thanks.. slowtiger.. interested as to what you mean by 'elaborate on the visuals'? I know there are aspects as to the 'finishing' and that the dogs quick leg movement was weird. I did make a mistake there but when i reviewed it, it made me laugh and thought to leave it in.. I thought it adds t...

Iwaxana.. thanks for that, some good analysis there, tho i have to say i didn't think about it that much and the plan was a bit of an idea which kind of grew organically. Am working o...

I really like this.. basic, simple but really effective in my eyes. It would be really good to see this applied to a strong narrative. Keep it up.

cheers robj, I'm rather fickle so it's great when someone answers, especially in the positive (although 'constructive criticism' is important too). I am working on an opening music/sequence at the moment which may give more of an idea where it goes so look out for that.. glad you like it!

slowtiger... thanks. uncertain about the background.. actually thought I may leave it but I know what you're saying.. getting the right style seems to to me to be looking for the holy grail! Have been trying to choose between hand drawn and vector for the past 5 years..! And I'm quite a fan of Postg...
