Move layer to the top of the layers window

Hi, I'm using Anime Studio Pro 9.5. Does anyone know if there is an easy way to move a layer to the top on the layers window (other than dragging it up)? Many times I'll have a vector or text that is behind other things at the beginning of the video, but later I need it in front of everything. I'm c...

Re: Adobe Premiere Elements to burn animation to DVD?

I appreciate all the feedback so far. I'll try exporting my original animation in PNG and then sequencing it in A.P.E. this weekend, and see how that goes. I've done that before using JPG files, but I don't think I've tried PNG. As for the using the MagicYUV codec, A.P.E doesn't seem to allow me to ...

Re: Adobe Premiere Elements to burn animation to DVD?

Unfortunately, even though DVD isn't a great format, I need to use it. I'm selling and distributing the animated videos as part of an educational program that I've created. When I've created the 720x480 file on my computer (in MPEG2 format), it still looks pretty good. It's just that when I burn it ...

Adobe Premiere Elements to burn animation to DVD?

Hello, I need to put some animation that I've created onto DVDs, but when I've tried it , I haven't been very happy with the results. It ends up looking pretty blurry and jaggy. I understand that even under the best of conditions, animation on a DVD isn't going to look great, but I'm really hoping I...

Videos to DVD: What's the best format?

Hi, I've created a set of 13 educational music videos in Anime Studio Pro, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on a good way to put them on DVD without losing much quality. Each video is 3 minutes long or less. I've read on the forum that a lot of people recommend rendering to JPG or PNG an...

jahnocli,

I didn't think I could put a vector image into the same layer as a scanned image. If this is possible, that would solve my problem.

Thank you for your replies. I'm not sure I was clear though. I had already put in moventment in the background "castle" layer. If I put that layer in a group folder with the New image (of the person I want standing in the window) the castle will still move independent of the new image. May...

Tell Anime Studio where moved picture files are?

In a current project I have several imported images. While doing some housekeeping on my computer, I wanted to move some of these images to a more logical location than they currently are (I have several images in a folder called Scanned images. It would make more sense to put them in a folder that ...

Attach a vector drawing to a moving scanned image

Ok, I've got an animation sequence that I'm working on where there is a castle in the background (which was a scanned image). To give the sequence the look of some depth, I move the castle in the background while the foreground pans to one side. Here is my problem. I just got the idea to put a chara...

Volter, I'm curious why you don't use a tablet for vector drawings in ASP. Is a tablet not really suited for that?

Thanks for the replies. I've heard that the pressue sensitivity doesn't work in ASP with the Genius tablets. Is that still the case, or has this been fixed?

Also, what is a good size for a tablet?

Thanks.

Shopping for a drawing tablet

Hi. I want to buy a drawing tablet to use with Anime Pro 7 and wanted to get some advice before making the purchase. I'd like to spend $100 or less, but could go as high as $150. I've never used a tablet before, and use Anime Pro a few hours a week. Any suggestions on makes, models, things to avoid,...
