Wonderful -- thanks very much for clearing that up.
I'm still a little sketchy on how the grouping/binding thing works but I'll work through more tutorials and figure it out eventually.
In the meantime, I'll stick with the 1-bone layer method! Thanks a bunch.

Can I tag along on this thread? It's been a while since I've used ASP, so I keep forgetting how the bone system works... Like in the original post, I saved out my character as a bunch of individual PNG files. Then I loaded them into separate layers in Anime Studio Pro 7, and then made a bone layer f...

Well speaking as a writer first (musician second, animator distant fourth)... I'd say that characters are not created by colours, designs, or voice talent- though all play a big part in bringing characters to life. Characters are ideas, created for the most part by writers or writer/animators. They ...

Hello Tim You have to import your sound file Files/Import/Soundtrack GC I've done that -- as I said above, I synced the animation to a .wav file (which I loaded into AS Pro). The sound plays back as I scrub through the animation, and the waveform shows up in the timeline. But when I export the anim...

No sound with Quicktime export?
I'm starting (again) to try and figure out AS Pro. I've got my animation synced to a .wav file, but when I export it as a quicktime, the audio isn't included. Any ideas why? Does audio not get included when you only export a frame range instead of the complete animation? And does anyone know why the...

Wow = thanks for the reply... though the news makes me a bit sad. I know all about audio editing (I'm a composer with a studio full of audio toys). But I'm kinda' surprised AS has this limitation, and doesn't let you set playback regions independently of the audio. Oh well. Guess I have to sync to t...

Keeping Soundtrack locked?
Hey - I'm new here, and not much of an animator... But I've been tinkering with this stuff for years and I'm really liking AnimeStudio Pro. But I've been having a problem getting my Soundtrack to stay put! Is this a bug, or am I missing something? I have a dialogue track about 2 minutes long. I impo...
