I've tried the sequencer. The point is that if I want to start the movie at a later frame I have to create another layer of that movie, and if I want to include the starting point in an action, it doesn't work. It is a question of ease of use. I thought there was another way other than the sequencer.

Controlling the starting point of a movie

Hi there, I need some help. In older versions of ASP (up to version 5 I think) it used to be that you could controle the starting point of an imported movie file by setting the visibility of the layer on or off. It was a great way to do that. Just one click away. I coud start and stop a movie whenev...

If you go at my youtube channel you will see a demo reel of my TV show called Animat Planet Show. It was a Romanian animated show wich ran 7 seasons from 2005 to 2008 until we were censored. You can also see Videos and other work done in AS. Cheers!

You're right Vern. It is motion blur. But I guess it would be easier to blur a layer acording to it's path of motion rather than true motion blur like in 3D programs that blur evrything acording to it's movement (like the movement of arms on a character). Anyway I'll stik to doing this in another ap...

Thanks for replying guys! Heyvern answerd synthsin75 better than I could. Thanks Vern! On motion blur. Come to think of it what I really need is a RADIAL BLUR. I would nead for a layer to be blured in the direction it would move. Forget motion blur. It wouldn't look good anyway on 2D animation, but ...

Hi! Haven't been on this forum for a while. Since december 2004 I have made a living using just Moho and now AS and a video editor (now Final Cut Pro). Here are my wishes that would make me a very happy animator: 1. Interpolation custom control. We should be able to control the way bones, layers or ...

Hi, thanks for the feed-back. Besides AS we use Photoshop, Illustrator and Final Cut Pro for the editing and sound FX. That preatty much covers it.
Hey, Slowtiger, an animator I work with is based in Berlin. I'm gonna visit Berlin this June for two weeks. How is the animation scene there?

Well up 'till now I was using File/Render (or Ctrl+R) and save the current frame as PNG. It always preserved the transparency on a PC machine. At least for me and my fellow animators. We've been doing this (animating in Moho) since december 2005. Now I'm just happy that I can render a frame as PNG w...

Thanks for the quick replys. What I was talking about is the ability to have transperency when you render just one frame and save it as PNG. On a PC I could preserve the transparency, on a Mac I can't. BUT having slept on it I figured out anothr way to get a PNG image out of Anime Studio with transp...

PNG transparency missing on Mac OS X Leopard version

Hey, I am TudoR. I have been using Moho and now Anime Studio for over four years on a PC machine. Now I am using an iMac running OS X Leopard. There is one thing I could do on a PC that I can't do on the Mac version of AS. When I render a shape, even a simple one like a circle or a square and I save...
