about the manual for 7...

If you haven't already found it, it is located in the 'Program Files/SmithMicro/Manuals/English/Anime Studio Pro 7 Users Manual.pdf. However I do not know if Debut has this feature ( ). I haven't touched Debut since my initial purchase of A-S Debut 5. But that is where it is found on my machin...

I kind of doubt whether Kelly has ever been on these forums (never seen his name and based on his schedule and work it doesn't make a lot of sense for him). If you really want to send him a note you probably can through the publisher's site (heck, you can even Google him -- this is probably the clo...

A note for one, Kelly Murdock...

AHA! I finally remembered... I just got my copy of Anime Studio the Official Guide in the mail from Amazon books... And there in little letters in the intro is a note about a book I still have squirreled away in my library... "3DGraphics and VRML". And I said, "OH YEAH! Now I remember...

Anime Studio... found better for straight up...

I have to say for just outright 'animation' AS has not paid off for quality in 2D work, in speed or quality. I recently got myself an app. named 'ToonBoom Studio Pro'... a bit more expensive for sure, but for straight out 2D work it beats AS hands down. I haven't tried it with 3D effects, however I ...

really nice conceptual piece...

I agree with most of the constructive comments thus far posted. With some work on emotion and movement of the characters (some random action by various background charas would be nice... more chaos!). But all in all the basics are talking to me in a way that says you have considered a lot in this wo...

Well...

Got the mail this a.m. downloaded and re-registered, didn't dig in to it yet. However it was nice to hear from the SmithMicro folks. Decided to check out the site, as I didn't see anything noted right off as a change in the app.,.. so had to hit the forum. Let's see what real difference we get out o...

Re: Animated tv series

All Character animation is made in Anime Sudio Pro and backgrounds in cellshaded 3d in Maya. Oskar, I have a question, what 'level' of Maya, 'Complete' or 'Unlimited'? For some time now I have thought it would be possible to produce good 3d with AnimeStudio, but I now think Maya is a level that just...

And then call them up and cancel it! Better yet, DON'T get the card to begin with!!! It isn't Amazon that is dealing the card... it is their branding, but NOT their bank. Credit is not something to 'just sign up and cancel'. Don't work that way!!! Homey don't play that... and neither should anyone ...

AS6.5 and other downloads...

I just within the past week have been trying to get the new 'e-frontier' site (with the SmithMicro header) to work... no such luck. When I write 'tech-support' I get a letter from them informing me that I need to write 'e-frontier' for support of AS5.5... and when I go to the e-frontier site (now th...

Hello! I saw that the book was listed in Amazon.com's anime books and thought I would wait until March or so... but I am getting on in AS Pro now a lot better, after having to find out various methods by trial and error... much error!!! And ranting!!! But if I get some cash I might just pop over to ...

The style is excellent with the characterization. I agree with the need for some smoothing of movement and motion, but all in all if you did this as a series the folks that produce South Park would be out of a job! This is really dark humor with absolute off the scale subject matter... I have no dou...

Good work!

This is a very excellent example of how one can use AnimeStudio for direct promotion of services with a simple art style and direct application (to the point) message content. I am reminded of the ads from the early 1960's that were produced by animation studios for ad agencies. It is 'retro' in tha...

I agree on the way it draws you in emotionally. Makes you wonder what is going on... it appears rather 'dark' and semi gothic. I like it! Good job... want to see the rest for sure.
