Some of my Flipnote Studio animations

The new portable Nintendo system DSi has a free animation program available for it. I've only had a chance to upload a few of my animations to the webpage. Simple looping animations for the most part. Limited to only two colors at a time. Here is my page: http://flipnote.hatena.com/56F029B01E38052F@...

Thanks

Thank you for the heads up about the new version. I had been working with Bryce 5 and while not a lot changed I like the improvements in 7. I use Bryce to create 3D backgrounds for my Anime Studio animations. I also use it to create some foreground things like a detailed tree and then use the alpha ...

I did what you did and had an inverted image with reduced opacity as the reflection. I solved the problem with an object behind another by making the opacity of the reflected object 100% from the frame that the object disappears behind the other object until it appears again at which point I put the...

I use my wacom when drawing detailed sketches and to add points and move points. It has a mouse that can also be used on the tablet face so I switch between pen and mouse as needed (or when one works better ie. less frustrating to get results) I actually set my tablet on my laptop keyboard and it do...

The new Nintendo DS handheld - the DSi lets you download programs and apps. I've been using the Flipnote Studio program to do flipnotes. It's a free to download program but has two layers and a lot of small features. You can save your animations as an animated Gif or save them frame by frame in a se...

Maybe it's me but it seems like everyone is overthinking this. As a saw blade spins it is really only made up with a few positions before the blades are back in line with how they started. (Since all the blades look the same no one can tell if it's rotated all the way around to the beginning or just...

Tutorial on walk cycles

In addition to doing 2D animation I also work with the open source, free, 3D animation software - Blender. There is an excellent tutorial they have in conjunction with the program that delves into walk cycles and it presents it more as 2D to explain contact poses and several other key factors. I imm...
