Lowrestv

Hey heyvern, No panic at this end. Concentrate on your new venture and do well. When things settle, if you decide to get back to Lowrestv as well, I'll still be interested in learning from you. Either way, the money is not an issue. Scott Vern is alive and well... just overworked trying to make a li...

Old news ... I signed up hours ago

This is great Vern, I'm really looking forward to it.

The signup and login process went very smoothly. I like the organization of the site too - very professional.

Camtasia can do the watermark too. I use it for work and finally broke down and bought it for home a couple years ago. It is really nice software.

Hmm hmm hm hmmm ... how are the video's coming? Have you figured out what we'll be paying?

I'll be a paying beta tester!!!

I'm glad you're thinking about download ability. I use Lynda.com for some work related training, and it's great, but having the ability to drop it into my Archos 5 is great when I'm stuck somewhere. The Archos uses a proprietary Linux and it has a plug-in for h264, so I would hope it would be suppor...

I ordered the download to avoid delay and potential duty and taxes. Since I payed by paypal, the exchange rate was up to them. 129.99 was 148.29 for the Pro version upgrade based on that day's exchange rate ... of course it varies. I avoided the extended download option (extra cost) and I'll just ma...

I like the move to PDF.

The old way was a bit annoying. The new one looks a lot better although I've only skimmed at it far.

Sorry, I should have asked the version.

I don't believe the Anime 5 help was in PDF format. I believe it was an actual help file. I'm sure someone else will correct me if I'm wrong.

Weird. The manual is the "Help..." link under the Help menu. It should open in Acrobat Reader since it is a PDF (at least under Windows - I would expect it is on a Mac and Linux as well). Using the default Windows install, the file is here: C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Anime Studio Pro 6\A...

Agent Smith

I appreciate your efforts Agent Smith. I'm glad you're posting to the forum more frequently now too. Although I'm not sure you feel that way at the moment  I downloaded the trial and played a bit. This morning before work I purchased the upgrade. I've spent a couple hours running through the q...

My calculations included the original purchase price plus the upgrade price. I have no doubt my math was likely wrong though

So ToonBoom with one update is $478 and Anime Studio with one upgrade is $328. If the upgrade prices and schedules are consistent $557 for ToonBoon with two upgrades, $457 for AS. Total cost for ToonBoon is less after three. Then again, I personally got AS in a cross-grade deal at a reduced price. P...

Great stuff!

Thanks Vern! The videos look and sound really good. I'm sure they will even get better as you become more relaxed with the process. I'll be signing up to your site assuming I can afford it (I doubt it will be a problem). Hopefully soon!! I downloaded the new version and followed along. I'll be upgra...
