Re: How to offset or translate bone in Anime Studio 10?

Ah I'd assume this occurred but actually it just rotated the bone for me, I'll try again also using the shortcuts, thanks.

How to offset or translate bone in Anime Studio 10?

In Anime Studio 9 you could change a bone's translation and offset in frames other than frame 0. In Anime Studio 10 as soon as I switch to a frame other than frame 0, I noticed the extra bone tools disappear. It is impossible to just move a bone and stretch the image with the few tools provided. How...

AVI export crash when using XviD codec

I searched and found a thread similar to the one I am making but since it was 2 years old and didn't provide any help, here it goes: I decided to use the XviD codec for my videos I export through Anime Studio , but at the last frame it crashes Anime Studio. The video is converted except the last fra...

Maybe Group layers can help you. I keep all my boned layers into a Group layer which makes it easier to move or scale as a whole.

...successfully bone a tail?

Is this the correct way to bone a tail so that it will wiggle playfully and smoothly or needs more bones? (Note that I don't animate with vectors)

When you want to do something with images remember always that Imagemagick exists! It is free and runs on linux, mac and windows! It is a mature project with a lot of features! Thanks Genete! I tried it and it does wonders! I had to use montage.exe for it with -tile and -background "transparen...

Tried, I only get information about strip comics... :P

EDIT: After some searching I found: http://www.humanbalance.net/gale/us/index.html which is also free, the problem is that it exports vertical strips, not horizontal!

No. You'll need another application to splice your PNGs together. Don't blame AS, formats like this are either too old-fashioned or specialised to be included. It's like the old "Filmstrip" format of Photoshop which became obsolete with Quicktime and video editing software. Well many game...

Strip PNG image export?

I created an animation for the heroine in my game, but in order to import it to my game I need to export it as PNG strip (which means, one frame next to other like a spritesheet). So far I've seen AS exports only as PNG sequences. Is there an option somewhere for this?

You could try using the zoom camera tool.

EDIT: I found a way. Place all the layers you want to scale in a Group Layer. Then select that layer (folder icon) and scale.

No, only SWF. (Which strangely doesn't work right for me), but now that I think about it, SWF will suffice, as AS does not have any actionscript, and you can re-place your soundtrack in Flash as well. The most common formats AS can export and Flash can import are: :: AVI/MOV : Best used when no tran...
