I was actually thinking of you when I posted this because I thought there were similarities with what you're working on... from what I've seen. Anyways, I thought the animation was great... some of the pacing was really nice and the audio and sound fx were really good. The overall style was hit or m...

Thanks. I guess the pre-multiply thing doesn't matter much anyway since apparently PNG uses non-premultiplied alphas from the transparency... or whatever. I'm still reading up on it. I'll have to check my photoshop file tomorrow at work. I must be doing something wrong. It's just strange that I can ...

I figured out a work around.... but only for flat color images like this one. Use the alpha as a layer mask instead of the alpha channel. Here's the updated photoshop file. This should solve the problem the original poster had. Unfortunately, this doesn't work for my project because I'm using images...

The problem is is that PNG doesn't use the alpha channel. It uses transparency. If you flatten the image, there's no transparency, only a solid. For example... I downloaded your Photoshop file, saved the image as PNG and then imported it into Anime Studio. The imported image was a solid blue rectang...

Bump of a year and a half old topic :?.

This should be a given, not a feature. If a file format has the ability to store alphas, then Anime Studio should recognize that.

I'm having issues with PNG images in AS so Targa with alpha would be a work around, unfortunately AS ignores the alpha. :x

Here is an explanation: http://www.td-grafik.de/ext/xfrog/alpha/index.html Anime Studio needs to be able to import images with the option to choose straight alpha or premultiplied alpha just like After Effects does. Here's an excerpt from another article ... Premultiplied versus "Straight"...

Oh yeah, I see now. You're right, it's behind the stage window. All it is is a finder window showing the files. :?

Is it? I'm new to Anime Studio so I don't know the history. Up until now was the Mac version behind?

Open Content Library?

I'm running the latest version of Anime Studio on a Mac. Under the help menu, there's an option that says "Open Content Library..." but when I click it nothing happens. What is it supposed to do? Edit: oops, should've searched first. Found another post with same question HERE . I guess it'...

I just recently purchased Anime Studio and was also surprised and somewhat disappointed that there was no way to edit the animation curves in Anime Studio. I also find it a little frustrating that there is no way to turn off Auto Key (is there?). As a Flint compositor, I am used to absolute control ...
