QuickTime Export and AE CS3?
After installing After Effects CS3, ASP crashes when I try to export an animation via QuickTime. I have already tried uninstalling and re-installing After Effects and QuickTime. Anyone else having a problem with QuickTime?

The layers are made in Corel Painter so when exported to Photoshop they don't get a proper layer mask. But I think I found another solution: Defringe (under the Layer, Matting menu in Photoshop CS). Thanks for the informative replies. Blending modes work for some images, don't work for others unfortunately (the artifacts disappear but the blending is wrong :)). I'm going to try adjusting the alpha channels in Photoshop and also the resizing suggestion but even if one of those works, it's a lot ...
