Hi,

in the 3D field it´s undoubtedly Maya which is most often used in professional production houses. It has been used in most feature films you see nowadays. I would say it´s followed by Softimage XSI and 3DSMax (ordered by occurrence in production houses for this special purpose I suppose)

Re: Thanks.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to my question. Seems ASP is the way to go for a newbie after playing around with both programs. Thanks, Mike. Hi, if you are interested: I still want to sell my AS Pro: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9919 Marco

Yes, you are right, but I still have Adobe After Effects for things like that (which is a bit more flexible...) ;-)

It was definitely worth your effort.

Quicktime export crashes? The solution!

Hello, I´ve had sudden problems with exporting quicktime movies from Anime Studio Pro recently and couldn´t explain them as I didn´t have any problems a few days before that. I´ve read that some of you suffer from the same problem. Now I have a solution (it worked for me at least) In your quicktime ...

Hi,

Things like motion blur take a certain time to compute and AS isn´t capable of showing them in realtime. What yo...

Hi,

just a stupid question: Did you render your animation or did you expect the motion blur to be visible in your standard viewport?
