awesome. way too advanced for me, too. keep it up, i'm following this thread really close. i'd like to learn the technique as well, since the tail movement looks very similar to hair animation. with regards to hair animation, i've been spending the time studying them on an open source 3D engine name...

Yup, I'm still working on point animation and will step-up to add actions in the next piece. I'll keep watching your tutorials and do more exercises. Eventually, I'll be able to incorporate them into my toolbox. Anyway, I did more tests in point animation trying to get a feel how actions will fit ne...

Look pretty good.

The Ruby code for translating SketcUp source is nice, that means I can use the free version to generate the file and let the Ruby translator do the work.

Thank you, Ricardo.

Really appreciate your contributions.

How was it?

Did you get the SketchUp obj file imported into AS?

I haven't seen this one yet. I wonder how the materials are handled during import process.

by the way, check this video...looks like this is possible in ASP5.

Build the props in sketchup and load it into ASP5.

Nice.

I'll buy you a beer too, Vern.

I owe you.

Remember that.

Anyway, I think grouping of scenes can be managed in different ways. Though I still need to hear from the Pros how they do it.

Sample Files For Collab/Ping-Pong/Tennis

Hi, I'm posting three files for those who are new to AS, and especially those who are Pros here as well. With these files, I'm hoping some would mod them by extending the files a little bit, sort of like tennis or ping-pong. Here is what I did: 1) I made one anme file per character. 2) A character h...
