I had to do a scene for a movie I'm working on from 2 different camera angles. everything from the characters to the background and props had to change for the different camera view but the audio remained the same. I just used that method to switch the camera when neccessary.

I find that reimporting movies renders lower quality in my experience. Another alternative is to treat each scene as a camera view. Just create a switch layer for the amount of camera views you need for your project and place each scene in a different group in the switch layer. That way when you swi...

The writing is fantastic. I love it. Even though I have only watched the pilot episode I can see myself becoming a major fan of the series. There are a few things that I think would need improving from what I saw but I don't know if you would have addressed those already. 1) The segments of your cha...

Ok so I understand (for the most part) what the rig is doing but at the same time I still have a few questions. 1) How exactly are these bones attached to the object? i.e. point binding or region binding? I think it's point binding but for some reason I'm not seeing any points in particular attached...

WOOHOO! I finally get my hands on it. Thanks a mil. I'll be up all night studying your rig but I'm sure it will save me days or weeks of production time.

Thanks again. :D

Much appreciated. I have been telling the guys in the crew that much more is possible with AS if they would just open their minds to the possibilities. You have now proven my point.

That would be more than adequate. Again I would be very interested in seeing an AS file as I am working on a feature length film and this rig would greatly improve the speed in producing the fight scene that I am now doing. Here is a little taste of what I'm working with so far http://www.youtube.co...

One thing I am curious about though is can your character make a full 360 degree turn with this technique? Not that I think it's necessary but it just occurred to me to ask. If not then for each character you will need a front view and a back view but within those views you get any angle or position...

2.9D FTW! This is by far the most significant innovation I have ever seen in AS. The fact that you have come up with this over a few days is even more impressive.

AS animators will be studying this for years to come.

It already has IMHO. Rose agent has flowing hair but you have limbs that seem to move in 3d and look like fluid hand drawn animations. I would love to see your AS file.

This is definitely the best example of rigging I have ever seen. VERY VERY IMPRESSIVE!!

You seem to be on the verge of making something as impressive and certainly more usable than ROSE AGENT!

Keep up the good work and I am eagerly awaiting the tutorial.

Well I'm not familiar with scripting at all and I use mostly what is built into the program. I'm using pro by the way. I have done tests of metal textures for parts of the vehicle like the rims and it works fine for me. The thing is that you can't expect to treat the whole thing as one object. I usu...

I'm just building my after effects reel so I don't have much to show with respect to that yet but it will be online soon.

If you use a textured object you can still add outline by using shadow.

It won't trace all the contors but you will have a nice solid line on the outside of your object.
